This 17th century Grade II listed building, takes its name from the village in which it is located, and is packed with original features and interesting nooks and crannies. Smoked salmon scrambled eggs were delicious. Staff were friendly and very helpful at all times
Located in Chilcompton, 27 mi from Weston-super-Mare, The Redan Inn provides a restaurant and free WiFi. We had an amazing stay. Room and bathroom were spacious. Location was quiet so we had a good night's sleep every night. Staff were lovely, very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast each day was delicious. Out of the 4 nights we stayed we ate in the pub 3 nights because the food was just so nice. We would recommend to stay here. Great location for exploring Somerset and Wiltshire.
The Best Western Plus Centurion Hotel is located between Bath and Wells, with leisure facilities. The property's restaurant overlooking the parkland golf course and ample free parking. The location, the frieldly staff and the several lounges that we could use for our own convenience.
Offering countryside views, Glamping on the Hill is located in Mells, 9.9 mi from Bath. Bristol is 16 mi from the property. Free private parking is available on site. Stayed in 'Pippin' one if the shepherd's huts with the hot tub. Spotlessly clean. All facilities for bbq provided.
Everything was perfect , the hosts, the staff, the room and the food were all wonderful. The room even had its own wood burning stove . It is a delightful place in beautiful surroundings - we loved it and will be back!
A very good rural location. I was there for a friend's birthday and so I didn't see much of the surroundings. Holcombe is very well placed for visiting Bath, Wells and Glastonbury. The local roads are quite narrow so driving can be exciting.
A delightful hotel within very easy reach of Wells, Bath, Cheddar Gorge and surrounded by stunning countryside. We loved our stay, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, comfort and the good food. A real gem!
Room very cold in the night but the bed was really comfy. Lovey country views from the room. You need a car as the hotel is a little out of the way but I did see a bus going past so I guess it’s on a bus route albeit the hotel is in a country lane Breakfast was a major disappointment. No vegetarian option and the chef did not read our Breakfast order correctly so my wife received an undercooked egg ( for her) a sausage which wasn’t requested and beans that have chorizo in. ( she is vegetarian). Be careful on entry as there is an immediate step down through the entrance door. You also have to pay in full for your stay on booking in
The hunters room id defiantly recommend for couples who love cosy comfort. The bathroom is phenomenal with it's free standing tub. We only had Breakfast for the mornings as we spent our days in the Bath centre (25 min taxi). It had a good handful of choices and was served by kind staff. My partner and me loved the fresh milk they offer you for your room for tea or coffee in the morning in a little milk glass.
The lodges are at the back of the car park with a lovely view over fields with lots of dog walkers. Lovely and peaceful. The bed was very comfy and the whole room and layout really well thought out. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and the staff very friendly. Would stay here again if visiting the area.
