It was just a couple of houses and a pub that stopped serving meals at 5pm on a Sunday, but it had amazing reviews. We were too late to eat there, but will next time. The Homestead is lovely, but the village is very small. Wonderful away from it all.
its a lovely peaceful quiet location in a lovely small hamlet with views of fields and farmland and a lovely garden. The Masons pub just two minutes away was welcoming and serve good food.We also took a trip into Knaresborough, only a few miles away and what a beautiful spot by the river nidd. A great time was had by all.
The pub, the Masons, just a two minute walk up the lane do an excellent steak. We were only overnighting on our way home from Scotland to Suffolk and this proved a good choice to stop. Large bedroom and larger bathroom with separate bath and shower and a lovely view. Down a country lane so very quiet. A good cooked breakfast the next mornng was the best way to start our day and journey.
