Matt's team were so welcoming and helpful, especially Katie who looked after us brilliantly on our first evening. Amazing food, lovely spacious room, roaring fire was kept lit all day, which took the chill off a cold January day. All in all, absolutely faultless.

    Hopwas was a little surprise.

    Hopwas was a little surprise. The canal walk is beautiful, and the ancient forest was unexpected and just a stunning experience (only pay attention to the red flags, if you see them it means there's military training in progress and you must avoid the forest).
