Where do I begin. This place and its host are a real find!!! The room is compact but has everything you need including USB ports !!! The bathroom is stylish with a good shower. The bed was comfortable and the breakfasts were good. The BEST part is Rupert, the host. So welcoming and helpful but also a mine of information. He knows the places to go for wildlife, good views or places to eat. He has the most wonderful 'guide book' that he has written for guests which is very informative but also very funny at times. He should publish it. He was also SO helpful to all his guests with the problems with the ferries that were cancelled throughout June. We are going back there again !!!!

We mucked up our ferries and bookings, and got dates mixed up. Archie and Peter were so flexible in sorting, and the suite/unit we had with all facilities was fantastic for 4 week in cycle tourers. Everything was clean, the lads were so friendly and flexible. What is not to recommend about that.

Really an excellent pod that featured everything we had wished for, even an oven, a private toilet and a shower. The floor heating made our stay even more comfortable. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful - we were all wet when we arrived from our day's walk in the rain and they offered to dry our wet clothes in the dryer.
