The Beaumont is exceptionally furnished. It is a study in comfort and style and the staff are consummate professionals. The breakfast is phenomenal and the location cannot be beat!

Excellent breakfast and extremely exceptional staff.

I know the hotel - it is in a prime spot for walkers/hikers and others - myself included - to walk the roman wall which is literally just up the road. The hotel is a well established stay for people who want easy access to the roman wall etc. I believe the new owners are going to renovate the hotel in January - I do hope that is sympathetic to the feel of the hotel that is has at the moment. Yes, the hotel is a little tired but not to the point that there isnt much to enjoy about it - in fact that is what I like about it the most and I am sure that is what other visitors come back for. I do hope the new refurbishment restores the charm the hotel already has which has kept loyal customers coming back to the hotel over the many years it has been established as you cannot recreate that feeling.

We always stay at the station hotel very handy and staff are great never have any problems

Didn't have a breakfast, cleanliness was excellent.
