Just 1640 feet from Hunstanton’s sandy beach, The Lodge is a traditional pub with a popular bar and modern restaurant. With free parking and free Wi-Fi, the hotel has spacious chic bedrooms. Really well-run, and friendly staff made it an absolute pleasure for a two-night break. The room was not affected noticeably by the coast road outside and the bed was HUGE! Usual drink-making facilities in the room, and TV, and a phone. The restaurant and bar-eating might get a bit crowded high-season, so book early if you want to eat in. The menu was varied and the food well cooked. No bar snacks, as such, but they were perfectly happy to serve just a starter off the menu instead. A choice of unusual (to me) beers at the bar as well as all the usual lagers and spirits. It's definitely well patronised by the locals, which is always a good sign. Not cheap, but VERY good value.
Heacham Manor Hotel is a Grade II listed Country House set in picturesque gardens with an 18-hole golf course and an award-winning restaurant, just 1.5 miles from Hunstanton. This is hotel next to the golf course. We are no golf players, but it didn't bother us, nor the staff, nor anyone else. It's an attractive hotel with relatively large rooms, a clean bathroom with a hot shower, amenities in the room, and very British. As a Dutch couple we like this kind of hotel: walking up and down old looking stairs, typical colours of wallpaper and tapestry, a variety of lazy chairs, a pub/bar, and a maze of rooms and areas to enjoy a drink, or read a book. Outside are golfers, who take an after-golf drink 'in waves', and all of this has made our stay a great experience. In addition: good breakfast, good wines, sufficient variety of the (one AA Rozette) dinner menu, with quick and efficient service. And lots of parking space for our car.
Located on the coast in Old Hunstanton, with grounds that stretch down to the seashore to one of the finest beaches in Norfolk, the Old Hunstanton Le Strange Arms Htl, BW Signature Collection offers... As residents, we were able to get a key to a summerhouse in the garden, close to the beach. Particularly good in the evening, as it looks west. The hotel has an adjoining pub, with a bigger selection of meals and a more relaxed, if busier environment. Lots of outside seating.

Less than 1148 feet from the seafront, No. 33 Huntstanton is a boutique-style bed and breakfast offering afternoon tea in the price. In addition to the excellence of No. 33, we were impressed with the overall arrangement of related services like the Deli, which we visited several times.

It would seem that recently a lot of money has been spent to help bring up the resort to a higher standard which has worked. I have been going (mainly at bank holidays) since I was a young boy. Now I have two adult sons and two grandchildren (five and two) that will just love it there. We found that everyone is so helpful and seem happy - that's not because they are taking my money it's the employee's not the owner's. Hunstanton or Skegness are closest to Leicester but we much prefer Hunstanton for a great day out. If you can stop longer then you must see Wells-Next-Sea not far around the coast.
Old Hunstanton is my idea of heaven. Clean sandy beach backed by dunes. Dogs are allowed. Good for windsurfing. Car park and loos. The main town of Hunstanton is for people who enjoy a more commercial environment with a promenade and lots of entertainment. The beach is rockier, and dogs are not allowed in summer months.
Hunstanton is a beautiful, traditional seaside town. You must go to the Deli where you can eat the tastiest lunch you will ever experience served by the friendly, passionate about local produce owners. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Beautiful beach and wonderful places to eat and explore! Old Hunstanton is the much more charming end and has lots of gorgeous views, however the 'new' end has all the fun of the fair and lots of shops to explore. We love Hunstanton!
Quieter in Old Hunstanton very relaxing lovely beaches for long walks or games or just relaxing. A pleasant walk to the livelier part of town with swimming , bowling, fun fair etc. There is a theatre in town and a good visitor centre with lots of info about the region. The Coasthopper bus is a great way to travel down the coast and goes to Cromer to the south and inland to Kings Lynn. The Lodge is a really nice place to eat in Old Hunstanton or for some pub grub the Ancient Mariner. Fish and chips plentiful in town. Also Chives restaurant in the town centre.
The visitors to Hunstanton were so friendly, and there was a very safe feel to the place. The places to eat provided variety of food, and the staff of the establishments were also friendly and helpful. The Goblins Pantry was a favourite place of ours to eat. Enjoyed the sea front, and on a Sunday afternoon we had an unexpected treat in the way of a band playing in the bandstand. Most places were clean and tidy, and the public toilets were acceptable, but not outstanding. The two bakers shops in the high street left much to be desired in the way of cleanliness.

lovely clean room, great view, staff really pleasant. could not believe the array of tea, coffee herbal teas etc in the room. Even supplied a coffee maker. The bed was extremely comfortable. The whole standard was great and I would not hesitate to recommend The Wash and Tope to anyone going to Hunstanton. Parking is limited but there is a pay and display car park opposite. Breakfast was plentiful with helpful waitresses.

Everything about the Lifeboat Inn was simply perfect. I stay in hotels quite a lot and so often they appear well designed but are let down by the finer details. Not so with the Lifeboat Inn. It is beautifully styled but also clean and well managed with very friendly staff. The food was excellent and the wine well chilled. In addition, the location is stunning and nearby Hunstanton a joy.

The cottage is very homely we felt relaxed as soon as we were settled in, the location was good for visiting north Norfolk attractions, specifically Old Hunstanton cliffs and Brancaster beach are stunning. The Peddars way foot path runs directly past the Cottage so ideal for walkers.
