Location was good, clean and centrally located but the staff was not helpful or friendly. We were unable to get dinner one night due to a car accident, and the hotel did not accommodate us with room service or help us ordering a pizza. It was very frustrating for us.

I stayed there as part of my 3-day Isle of Skye tour, and I couldn't have asked for a better place for stops.
Inverness is a quaint, small city with lots to offer. I was traveling with my partner and he had the same impression.
We found the best place for pizza and whiskeys (Black Isle Bar & Rooms) with rooftop 'secret garden', and large selection of beers on tap!
Strolling along the River Ness during sunsets is a charming experience, and we'd definitely love to visit this place again :)

Also visit, Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle, |Culloden is a must see as well. Also well worth a visit is the Dores Inn where you can enjoy a delicious fish tea. Do have a stroll along the beach there where you get magnificent views up the loch.

Loved everything about Inverness!
Loved everything about Inverness!
Being just north of Loch Ness was fun and the day trip to the Isle of Skye and Portree was beautiful. Weather cooperated too.
We enjoyed our entire trip. London, Cambridge, Isle of Man, Dublin, Kilkenny, Galway, Edinburgh and finished off our trip in Inverness and wouldn't have had it any other way!
We selected the perfect time of year for this trip, May 16 - June 7. It was a little cold & rainy but overall the temperatures were perfect. We prefer 60 degree to low 70 degree temperatures. And zero smidges to contend with!
My family and I had a very cosy room with all amenities that you can think of. Russell, the owner gave us a lot of useful insider information about Inverness and Scotland in general. In the morning he provided us a fabulous breakfast according to our wishes. Our room had a private bath and everything was absolutely clean. The beds were very comfortable so that we wanted to stay longer in this cosy home. When we come back to Inverness we will definitely stay there again. Thank you so much Ellen and Russell!!!!!
John was an amazing host. He was friendly and informative. The breakfast cooked by himself was amazing. It was customised and included eggs by his own chicken! The two ladies serving us were kind and smiley. Location is very convenient and close to the city center. PS we made a 10-day road trip to Scotland, staying in 5 different accommodations. This was the best hotel we visited!
Excellent location for our trip. A short drive to Loch Ness so perfect!
Food was fantastic especially the haggis (first timer)
Our host was friendly and chatty which was very welcome. Louise and I are very pleased to see this hotel up and running again. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this beautiful area of Scotland.
Everything was perfect, 2nd time staying in 2 weeks and 1st class, can't be faulted, 100% worth every penny, room, food, staff were 5***** can't wait to book again soon. Stayed all over Scotland in hotels and this is far the best for all round exceptions.
House is in a lovely and quite area, inverness is a 20 min drive away. We also managed to visit Ben Nevis and loch Ness, all the best parts of Scotland on your door step !
