Set in 4 acres of beautiful gardens, the Kingsmill Hotel, Inverness has a spa, a swimming pool and free parking. Inverness city center is just one mile away. We spent 5 days at the hotel last week and had a fantastic time. We booked to stay in a Garden room and it was perfect for us, it was so cosy and quiet. It was lovely having a nice view to the garden area, there is a table and chairs on the patio but we didn’t get the weather to sit out. Would be lovely in the summer months. Food was overall really good and a good variety. Breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast and more than sufficient for us each morning. We ate in the restaurant 2 evenings and ate out in Inverness the other 2. Both evenings we ate in the hotel our meals were first class and couldn’t fault them at all. Service by every single person we spoke to was outstanding, from the girl checking us in to the bar and restaurant staff. Everyone was so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Pool and gym were ideal for us too as we like to use them most days. Gym equipment is not the most up to date but for a hotel gym it was ideal and helped burn the calories from desserts and wine !!!! Overall a grear hotel in a great location for exploring the Highlands and we will def be back.

The centrally located Heathmount Hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from Inverness Castle, and offers Scottish whiskey, Illy coffee and freshly mixed cocktails in its 2 contrasting bars. The room was spacious enough to accommodate two adults and two teenagers. The room and the bathroom were super clean. Both had a lot of natural light. What was different from other hotels is the dimmable ceiling lights in the room. I wish all hotels have this simple feature. Another thing that we absolutely loved was the breakfast with a lot of healthy and delicious choices.

Always a very nice experience visiting Inverness although the city has grown and now is very busy. The decline of the shopping in the city/town centres has not affected Inverness as much as other places. Still able to get what ever you want.
Staff were very helpful polite and room was tidy clean bed was comfortable would stay again but sorry but the food could have been a bit hotter that was the only thing that could be improved thank you
A fine City with with bus and train services located next to the excellent Royal Hotel where we stayed. Great walks along the river and fine restaurants, including the Mustard Seed where we enjoyed a great meal. The early evening two courses for under £15 is great value.
loved visiting historical areas & drives around to different parts of the highlands in the amazing beautiful scenery and surrounds especially with it being autumn and also bit quieter this time of year. Managed to get booking at one of the restaurants on the water-front area fabulous meal in inverness very & easy access to get around the surrounding area. Probably avoid eating in at the hotel restaurant we were staying at as it was very overly priced for what we got.
Incredible small city which is the capital of and great base for exploring the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Loch Ness and much more. The city centre is marked by the River Ness and the amazing areas.
Very easy to get around on foot. Lots of nice walks around Inverness and lots more places within easy driving distance. Weather: rained at some point every day, but this is north of Scotland in late autumn, so to be expected!

Inverness
The location was wonderful (lake, forest) and close to the city of Inverness The owners are extremely kind and socialized The mattresses are the best I have ever sleep The breakfast simple but tasteful, everything was well picked up The decoration of the house and our family bedroom was absolutely gorgeous (a well-looking village house, traditional paintings, and decoration, but also adjusted in nowadays with an enormous smart TV standing in front of our bed)
Inverness
Great location with adjacent parking available that was free overnight. We had a 4-person room for the price of a twin so was spacious and really comfortable. Staff were great and helped us up the stairs with our bags. Lovely breakfast options with fresh fruit available. Would highly recommend this B and B
