The first welcome from Ann Leigh at reception was lovely - she could not have been nicer as she explained everything to me. The staff in the Grand Hall, Restaurant and Bar were all so friendly and efficient. Even when I requested the same table for breakfast and dinner-nothing was too much bother for them.

The room was very spacious and the windows actually opened. The bed was nice and large. The Bar & Grill did a lovely job on dinner. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the wait staff were very attentive.

I was only there for a night before flying out the next day after a week on the island of Iona.
