we were booked into this hotel but due to a problem there we were moved to a sister hotel with a upgrade . on our drive to the hotel the Owner phoned to see what time we were due to arrive , as it was getting late the owner read us the menu so we would not miss dinner . Fantastic service ! My partner and my self were more than happy with our room and the dinner was great . I would like to thank the Owner and friendly staff for a great stay , we would both book here again .

Value for money? better than, helpful staff? excellent. For a hotel in such a busy area with the amount of footfall it receives, it is a very well kept property. It was early March on our visit and to wake up in the morning with a view across the lake it surpassed our expectations. It is easy to recommend the Days Inn at Lockerbie.

Clean Basic Accomodation with little food or entertainment choices in evening - mostly Mc D. A view of the lake rather than the car park would have been nice. Our TV didn't work and we were told that it could not be fixed as an engineer was not available. All in all this hotel is fine if you just need a quiet overnight motorway stop and somewhere to put your head down. Moffat is a lovely town ten minutes up the road and worth a visit. If it hadn't been torrential rain when we arrived we might have ventured out rather than eat processed food and be dissapointed by a constantly stuttering internet based TV.

very nice clean hotel with superb views the only down side was very poor catering supplied by fast food operators the hotel are going to try to amend this by getting their own catering. would recomend days inn's and use again providing catering is nearby.

Wish I was staying longer than we did but it was a pit stop . We were going further north for are main holiday. I will remember the grate hot bath for a long time and the very good staff. Thank you.

Staff polite and very helpful whent to sommerton hotel for a steak very poor would not feed to my dog no fault of yours star fish cafe Lockerbie for breakfast was great 7. 5 quid good value the inn met all our expections sporting break with a old friend allowed to go back to room for afternoon sleep great idea bye to sporting activities dawn and dusk could not ask more will visit again soon

I have to be truthful it was horrible .

I have to be truthful it was horrible . The place needs total refurbishment it is tired and not the cleanist. There was bird pooh all on the balcony. There are screw holes in the walls not filled. The shower is rubbish and there is damp and paint pealing off the ceiling. The plug in the sink was not attached to a chain and the sink was stained and also grubby where it met the counter top. The towel rack was askew and not fixed securely. The bathroom floor was grubby and the bath was not the most inviting even to stand in the top part of the bath tap was missing where it would state hot or cold. Rip in sofa. I laid in my clothes all night as the place made me feel itchy and totally depressed. Could not wait to get out of there and was not worth the money. Not sure how people gave it Good reviews It's a depressing hell hole. The only nearby restaurant was McDonalds in the adjoining service station .

Annadale Water is a lovely place to break. Great scenery and you can have a walk around the lake, you're not just stuck at the service station. Although the hotel looks a little shabby from the outside my room was excellent. Nice and large and very well decorated. It was well equipped, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again. I didn't eat at the services so can't comment about this.

It was a good value clean hotel had very little contact with staff but we stayed one night and when we did see them they were lovely … all spoke to my daughter and dog , For what I paid for a king size room with much view it was a large room nice bathroom. Little balcony I was chuffed my daughter loved it

This is a hotel in a motorway service station, but I had a room with a small balcony overlooking a pond , that is definitely a bonus . The receptionist was helpful and the shop in the service station gave me free ice to chill my beers. It is a convenient location to break the journey North to the highlands

Staff were very kind and considerate in meeting our needs. The hotel and room was clean and tidy. We found being able to come and go directly from the hotel to the restaurant area also good. Also loved the lake views and walk.
