This small but perfectly formed boutique hotel dates from 1600. It has an award-winning cocktail lounge and stylish, individual bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. Several restaurants are within a 3-minute... What a gem! The old pub has been converted into a swanky cocktail bar and boutique hotel. We stayed in room 5 at the back, super comfy bed and exceptional walk in shower room. We sampled a few cocktails in the evening- clearly skilled bar-tenders; the drinks were exceptional- made even better by such friendly staff.

Returned to stay as enjoyed the hotel and Kenilworth and is only 10 minutes to Stoneleigh showground where we were working. There is a great choice of places to eat and drink in the old and new parts of Kenilworth and Woodside Hotel is excellent in all ways. Delicious value for money food, attentive friendly staff, bar with television, lounge to relax in, indoor good size swimming pool, pitch and putt, set in lovely countryside surroundings yet near the town, motorway etc. Good size rooms with all the little touches and fruit, water, drinks available all the time free. We will be back.
Attending a course at Warwick university, ideal locality for this. Room was clean and a comfortable night was had. Food at the bar was excellent and at a really fair price. Everything about this hotel/spa was lush. Would not hesitate to recommend to all.
I was visiting family in Kenilworth and the location of this hotel was perfect. A clean and comfortable, friendly little hotel which did the job. I would stay there again but next time request a room with a window, my room on the ground floor was a bit pokey.
Travelling to Archery competition at Stoneleigh - hotel very central in the lovely town of Kenilworth - very central to shops, bars and restaurants (lovely restaurants) - close to airport and our venue - hotel staff friendly and helpful - housekeeping excellent (staying two nights and on return on first day found the room as we had arrived)
Kenilworth is a very attractive small town. There is an old part of the town and modern part and lovely park to walk in which is in between the 2 towns. Visiting Kenilworth Castle was a bonus and very interesting. There are numerous eating places in Kenilworth and lovely pubs and tea rooms.
We parked in Bridge Street - Abbey Field Car park. This is fantastic area for walking the dog. Had a bite to eat and drink in a Alexa Lauren Patisserie. Dog friendly and lovely omelette. Unfortunately it was a Friday and the Castle is only open on Saturday and Sundays. So a must next time.
The Cow Shed had everything we needed and it was perfect for our break to visit family and friends. Not far from the Castle, but not too far to walk to Kenilworth. Very quiet location. Zoe is very friendly and accommodating

Parking was simple and next to the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nicely served and provided choices. The room was on the ground floor, which is what we had requested.
