Quiet village with great shingle beach for walking. Very good fish and chip restaurant/takeaway, also popular restaurant and village pub serving food. Good location 20 minute drive from Southwold.

Lots of interesting places and villages nearby to visit, Dunwich, the town in the sea, Walberswick, an old worldly day out and Southwold with its pier and slot machines for a more modern day out. All very different but fun. Africa Alive a great day out with lots of close up animals.

Lovely rural beach in a very quiet village. Plenty to do in surrounding villages and towns . Beccles lovely and Southwold. Cinema in Aldeburgh lovely . Ate at the fish and chip restaurant which was very nice with excellent service.

To be honest, my wife and I only stayed for 2 days and used the superb B&B we stayed at as a base to operate from. What we saw of Kessingland itself looked great. We ate at a place called the Waterfront Restaurant and the food was excellent. To comment on anything else at Kessingland would be unfair, but it is our intention to return in the future to further explore this lovely area.

It's within easy reach of the beach and only a short distance from local attractions and seaside towns.We ate at the Waterside restaurant , which was very good. We visited the theatre in Southwold , which is a short car journey away , and the RSPB centre at Mimsmere.
