Everything was lovely. We love historic places with quiet assured by expansive grounds. The location was very good for our return to Heathrow in another day. We enjoyed the pool after a busy day. Breakfast had many offerings to start the next travel day. Spring was a perfect time to enjoy things in bloom and the weather was perfect.

They made the room special for my partners birthday that we were celebrating whilst there, staff very friendly and the gym and pool was great! Quite busy all the time so allow extra time when going as a lot of people go which shows how great the quality is! The breakfast was great. Lots of choice from the standard pub menu and the option to go for a larger size or add on extras for the relevant charge. Massive cups of coffee get a thumbs up from us. For our family, this was a perfect set up of five rooms - all sharing a courtyard. All rooms - a and a great choice of room types - were well equipped (iron and board/coffee machine/kettle/hairdryer/radio/TV/WiFi) and en suite.
