Located in Lamberhurst, 2.9 miles from Scotney Castle Garden and Estate, T & J Motel provides accommodations with a garden and free private parking. The motel features family rooms. We booked these rooms for friends visiting, being a family of 5 they were very happy with rooms and the on site play park. They were really happy and also mentioned the shop on site was very handy.
The Vineyard Lamberhurst is set next to Lamberhurt’s vineyards, looking onto the pretty Kent countryside. This charming inn features a restaurant, rooms with terraces and lovely gardens. Loved the food! Comfy beds. Different sized pillows, amazing shower.
Located in Wadhurst, 19 miles from Maidstone, Hopgarden Glamping Luxury Shepherds Huts provides a garden and free WiFi. A quirky way to spend a lovely evening, beautifully decorated, relaxing by the fire pit at night, short walk to local pub, not far from Bewl water where we spent the day in the sunshine. Staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.
The hotel was easy to find. Stayed one night. Room was well presented, with kitchen area ( kettle, sink, microwave, coffee/tea). Would be useful for longer stay, as no cooked food on site. Modern , clean shower room. Great taxi service suggested to transport us to The Small Holdings restaurant for special meal.
What a terrible room! A so called a 'luxury suite' and a complete misrepresentation coming in at £130. It was impossible to stand upright in the bedroom as it was in the roof space and so hot. We moved to another suite that was a little smaller and a bit cheaper but nonetheless we were not able to benefit from the reduced price. The living area was approx 7ft x 8ft and in that space was a spiral staircase up to the bedroom which was very difficult to negotiate and impossible for anyone with any infirmity. You could only walk past the side of the bed by turning your feet sideways on the side nearest the staircase, meaning that the feet were catching in the rungs of it. It was positively dangerous and would have been impossible for a large person to negotiate. The window blind was broken and only lifted from one side and had clearly been like that for some time. The handle to get into the room was nearly hanging off, instead of 6 screws holding it on there were only 2 and they were virtually dropping out. In short this is without doubt the worst accommodation I have ever encountered and I feel very aggrieved that sums such as I mention are being charged for accommodation such as this. I cut my stay short and couldn't wait to get away.
Lamberhurst village is very small and no public transport -car needed. Several attractions close to hand no restaurant on site but pubs nearby with good food. Motel is also a camp site with childrens play area.
We were pleasantly surprised at how cute and clean the living room, bathroom and upstairs bedroom was. I usually stay in hotels but I am very pleased that I opted for this bed and breakfast. Great value for money.
Room was clean and the hotel conveniently located. Full kitchen facilities provided in the room, but as a motel, worth noting that no breakfast is available on site.
