Thyme is located on a country estate in the Cotswolds, 26.1 miles from Oxford. Guests can enjoy breakfasts and suppers in the Tithe Barn. Thank you so much to everyone at Thyme who went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. We were able to unwind and relax in the beautiful environment, and thanks to the wonderful service, we felt extremely welcome and a bit sad that we had to leave too soon! We loved our Garden Room which was stylishly decorated with a little garden that had a fire pit in it. We also managed to book a slot at the pool, it was outdoor but heated, therefore very comfortable. Dinner at The Ox Barn was lovely too, the food was so delicious! Everyone who works at Thyme are so nice and helpful, it does makes a huge difference and we really appreciate it.

Thyme, Five Alls, and New Inn Hotel got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Lechlade.
Many families visiting Lechlade loved staying at Thyme, Five Alls, and New Inn Hotel.
Stayed in the hay loft, lovely accommodation, bed comfy good quality bedding Tea and coffee , chocolate brownie, and water, TV, comfy chair. A lovely cosy room. The bathroom is upstairs with a shower no bath. Be aware the stairs are steep, so if you have Mobility issues not for you. We had a superb breakfast the staff friendly and welcoming. I would diffently come back.
My wife and I stayed at a hotel called the new inn in lechlade as we were visiting family. A beautiful village and the hotel was of good standard. The staff were amazing as was the quality of the food.
I visited to attend a wedding so added a day either side of the event. This gave ample time to explore the village and the two churches. Everyone we met was really friendly and welcoming and the Five Alls inn served delicious food.
Stayed here for a night before sisters in law wedding in Witney. We stayed with our young son, and rented a boat to take out on the river which was great fun. We then had great pub lunch and my son loved the Pizza that was offered on site. We then walked up onto the high street, and looked in the Christmas shop and had a good walk alongside the thames.
Ours was just a 3 night stay, which was just the right amount of time to explore the Cotswolds. Burton on the Water was a very pretty village to visit, with the added attractions of "Birdland" & "The Model Village". Driving in Lechdale was easy & it is in a good location. We booked for bed & breakfast at the New Inn Hotel, & were extremely satisfied with brekfast there each day. We also had dinner there on the first night, & again the food was very nice, with a good choice of menu.
We come back every year Enjoy the quietness and the river running along the bottom of where we stay. Burford nearby and bournton-on-the-water are really worth a look. The new inn does an evening. Their steak and gammon are a must
Lechlade
Lovely country hotel with a first class cozy restaurant and small bar. Top tip - the venison and Bourguignon pie for two is absolutely delicious but make sure you’re hungry! The staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. Spotlessly clean and warm and extremely tastefully decorated. Instant hot water in a fantastic shower. Very home from home. Would rate this for couples wanting to get away from it all.
The property is outstanding! Truly a village with rooms, restaurants etc located in different old neighboring country estates that in sum has been turned into the hotel, surrounded by lush gardens, winding footpaths and giant majestic old trees. I have never seen a hotel this beautiful and unique. Everything is also very well kept, plus service was excellent and the food very good.
Lechlade
Perfectly located and well equipped accommodation. Very clean and tidy, We used it for a small family reunion and there was plenty to do in the area and it was not far to travel to either Lechlade or Burford, both very attractive towns. We'll definitely recommend it to friends.
