Thyme is located on a country estate in the Cotswolds, 26.1 miles from Oxford. Guests can enjoy breakfasts and suppers in the Tithe Barn. Thank you so much to everyone at Thyme who went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. We were able to unwind and relax in the beautiful environment, and thanks to the wonderful service, we felt extremely welcome and a bit sad that we had to leave too soon! We loved our Garden Room which was stylishly decorated with a little garden that had a fire pit in it. We also managed to book a slot at the pool, it was outdoor but heated, therefore very comfortable. Dinner at The Ox Barn was lovely too, the food was so delicious! Everyone who works at Thyme are so nice and helpful, it does makes a huge difference and we really appreciate it.

Lechlade
Located in Lechlade, 19 miles from Blenheim Palace, 20 miles from Cotswold Water Park and 20 miles from Lydiard Park, Maisey Cottage has accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. Maisey Cottage is extremely comfortable and cosy. There is underfloor heating in parts of the cottage should you need it, and the log burner is so efficient that it warms practically all of the downstairs. Logs are provided. The seating in the lounge is very comfortable (at least one of our group ALWAYS falls asleep on one of the sofas!). The kitchen has been very well planned and is comprehensively equipped with good quality things. There are two bathrooms with two showers making it ideal for two couples, although one is downstairs. The beds are comfortable and plenty of fluffy towels are provided. There are lots of useful things left in the kitchen - oil, condiments etc., ditto shampoo, shower gel etc in the bathrooms. Maisey Cottage is in a good location within easy reach of many lovely places and Mandy the owner has left a comprehensive guide to days out, walks etc. It’s obvious she’s a very organised person! It’s our second stay a Maisey Cottage as we love it so much, and it’s a halfway point to meet up with our friends from Manchester. I am sure we will stay again as it’s very much a home from home. The only thing to be aware of is the staircase which is quite steep and winding and traditional to an older cottage. It is fine if you have no mobility issues but if you do, it would be something to consider.

A lovely place to stay right on the banks of the river Thames. The room was clean and comfortable with the best tea and coffee making facilities I've ever seen. If I could offer some advice it would be to upgrade the lighting in the room as it did feel a little dark.Very happy with my stay thank you.
A lovely Cotswold town with plenty of small shops including a very well stocked licensed health food store. A selection of eateries including high quality pub grub, super Indian and fish & chip shop. Good river walk along the upper reaches of the Thames.
The location was fabulous with lovely river views and towpath walks. We ate outside at The Riverside but the burgers were dry and tasteless and chips horrible. There was no ‘free’ breakfast as it isn’t available except Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The parking is confusing as it is a private pricey car park and it isn’t until you check in that you are informed you don’t have to pay and given a windscreen notice. Lechlade itself is beautiful. The Riverside is fine to stay over just don’t eat there.
Walked along the river to St Johns Lock. Statue of Old Father Thames there. Went to the source of the Thames near Kemble. A long walk there and back but worth it as we live on the big wide Thames. Saw the Thames at Cricklade about one foot deep. Cotswold Wildlife Park was very enjoyable and Bourton on the Water. Ate at hotel every evening as food was excellent. Have no complaints about anything.
Stayed in the hay loft, lovely accommodation, bed comfy good quality bedding Tea and coffee , chocolate brownie, and water, TV, comfy chair. A lovely cosy room. The bathroom is upstairs with a shower no bath. Be aware the stairs are steep, so if you have Mobility issues not for you. We had a superb breakfast the staff friendly and welcoming. I would diffently come back.
My wife and I stayed at a hotel called the new inn in lechlade as we were visiting family. A beautiful village and the hotel was of good standard. The staff were amazing as was the quality of the food.
Lechlade
The room in this pub was excellent. Situated opposite the hotel it was roomy and very well equipped. There were plenty of places to hang/store our belongings. The bathroom was spacious with an excellent shower. Two comfy chairs and a very comfortable bed made for a relaxing stay. We received a very warm welcome from staff. The pub was extremely busy but they took the time to tell us about their meal service and places to go to get breakfast in the morning.
Lechlade
Lovely pub in the centre of Lechlade. I was travelling for work. There is a car park behind the pub and plenty of street parking too. Curry house and chip shop near too and a londis also. Couple of other pubs in easy walking distance. The room was very well decorated and maintained and the bed was probably the most comfortable I have been on for a good while including my own lol. Great staff. No complaints will be back when next in the area.
The included breakfast was amazing, though we had to miss it one morning due to it being served 8-10am. The pub itself had fantastic food and drinks, as we dined with them for dinner one night. The staff was very friendly and it was located in a nice, quaint area with easy access to the Cotswolds. Our room was very cozy.
