A very unique place to stay within easy access into Edinburgh with the tram. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the boat and the refurbishment. Nothing was any bother at all. The service from pre-check in to check out really was second to none. Rooms were comfortable and didn't have any TVs which was actually a refreshing change. Plenty of plug sockets near the bed. Also very nice to see some Scottish toiletries from Arran Aromatics. Breakfast was delicious (continental) and we used the lounge area in the evening to play Uno with a few refreshments.

The front of house cafe was always bustling and had some great cakes on offer. The receptionists were always friendly. The building was easy to navigate to find my room. The room looked just like the photos and was comfortable to stay in. The shower pressure was great. The double-pain windows kept all the noise from the bar next door out of the room. The TV had a large selection of channels to watch. The WiFi was fast and worked perfectly. The hotel is in the perfect location for sightseeing. I was able to walk anywhere I wanted to go and there was a Tesco Express very close by for any grocery needs I had.
