Hotel in Liphook
In the beautiful South Downs, in the heart of Hampshire, Champneys is an exclusive spa hotel with tranquil grounds and an innovative restaurant. Totally wonderful stay. The staff are excellent especially the lovely Anna on reception. Anna was wonderful and took time and care to modify my booking and get me a ground floor room because I have had spinal surgery. The food was lovely and fresh in the dining area with lots of fresh fruit. The seving staff were so lovely and attentive. The swimming pool was amazing and got alot quieter later in the evening.

This hotel caters for golfers only . We wanted a nice quiet few days , using the spa and pool . However they were not available. There was nowhere pleasant to sit outside and enjoy the weather . The website is misleading, the place is not suitable for those who want a relaxing time .
The apartments, the spa health club, the grounds, was able to bring our own food and drink to the apartments so did not have to leave the apartment to eat out. The golf course the guys found amazing. The ladies enjoyed the steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi. The only criticism under the beds was very dusty and hand wash should be provided in all bathrooms instead of the little hand soap.
What i liked most is the relaxation and spacious rooms with everything intact. What i dont like is the treatments without discounts. Very expensive spa treatments. Eating was carried out in the restaurant. Very easy to go round Liphook with a taxi.
Old Thorns is a village of its own, near Liphook. THere are all facilities, bar, restaurant, sports bar, starbucks, spa, golf, and plenty of options, Even a lovely pub (separately owned) at the bottom of the drive. Lots of walks in the area. Recommend to anyone.
I love the fact that it had electric chargers on-site for my car, also the opportunity to book apartments. The place is right for events, reunions and golf. It was too short for me, so I was unable to use most of the opportunities.
Booked room on 17th August Upgraded on 18th All confirmed with booking.com for 28th August It was a wedding present for bride and groom Went to pay at old Thorns on 28th.computer was down but reception took pre- auth of card and said I could phone to make payment later which I did. Reception also provided form to complete bride and grooms names and signature. Hotel verbally confirmed booking around 5 pm Bride and groom arrived around 9:30 and were told no room available Disgusting
Wonderful spa and hotel in a fantastic setting. The spa is well equipped, rooms are spacious and the surrounding natural area is outstanding.
Great service, lovely surroundings, use of the spa included. Cheap accommodation.
