Stayed just one night but would need more time to see everything, lots to see and do, looked lovely with all the Christmas lights, lots of shopping in the area. Easy access to the motorway and close to Belfast. Lots of lovely walks in the area.
We where only here for a weekend and tried to do as much as possible in this time. I would recommend going on citysightseeing hop on and off bus it was great way to see alot of things and cover a large part of belfast. Also st George's market was amazing also the christmas light switch on and market! Everyone that we have met during our stay have been so helpful and friendly! I cant wIt to come back again! The train from larne to belfast and stops in between train conductors and harbour staff where super friendly and helping us plan our routes and giving useful information!
Lovely town, loved it more than my previous stays in Belfast. Not many places to visit but if you are looking for a quiet getaway Lisburn is perfect. Great transport links to all major places to visit in NI
My stay here was just one night as my flight had been cancelled from Poland and took a flight to Belfast to get me home to Newcastle. The hosts Jimmy and Mable were very accommodating and the breakfast was superb. It is in the most tranquil spot you could imagine. A car is a must though.
