At the foot of Mount Snowdon, the Royal Victoria Hotel is cradled between Lakes Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peries. Bedrooms have baths and showers and satellite TVs. A perfect location on a hillside near the steam train up to Snowdonia..Very welcoming and helpful staff members...SUPER breakfast on the terrace! Good food in the restaurant...A very historic building...
Surrounded by Snowdonia National Park, the Padarn Hotel is located in the village of Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon, 328 ft from Padarn Lake and is 1640 feet from the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Very friendly and helpful staff especially Mathew who certainly made myself and friends welcome..
Situtated at the foot of Mount Snowdon, The Lake View Hotel is surrounded by woodland and features rooms overlooking Lake Padarn. Lovely homely place run by really friendly people. The food was really good, room comfortable, clean and quiet. Stayed there with my son as we were working nearby, we had an enjoyable stay and will look forward to staying there again next time we are working in that area. This hotel would be an ideal base for people wanting to explore the Welsh country side.
Beech Bank B&B is a bed and breakfast located in Llanberis at the foot of Mount Snowdon. Annie greeted us warmly upon arrival and graciously allowed us to check in early since I was a bit under the weather and needed to rest. Our room was shown to us, all the features pointed out and relevant details shared by Annie as well. Parking on-site free in the rear of the home. Our bed had been converted to 2 singles, as apparently was indicated from our booking info (which we didn't request to our knowledge), but was perfectly fine since I was poorly. My wife and I did find this feature a nice one to be able to choose sleeping configuration options if available. We had a top floor room with a lovely skylight and a nice view over towards the lake. Very close to the Snowden Mountain Railway which we had booked for the following day. The town was walkable from here and a few restaurant options close by. Cooked breakfast was very nice. We would stay with Annie again in a heartbeat. Many thanks!
Located in a converted school house, Lodge Dinorwig is located in Dinorwig, 5 mi from Snowdon. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking and WiFi are available on site. The staff were so helpful and accommodating - I needed to be up early both days I stayed so they left porridge ready and a bacon sandwich in the fridge (really nice bacon and lovely bread).
Llanberis Lodges is located in Llanberis, at the foot of Mount Snowdon in the heart of the Snowdonia Mountain Range. Free private parking is available on site. The rooms have a flat-screen TV. Excellent breakfast, locally sourced produce, good space with own private terrace, view of mountain.great value for money, friendly host and staff
Located close to the water of Llyn Padarn, Glyn Peris offers bed and breakfast accommodations close to the entrance to Snowdonia National Park. Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the property. I stayed at Glynn Peris to base myself there to climb Mt Snowdon. Ceris is the hostess with the mostess and from the moment I arrived it felt like a home away from home- warm and inviting. My single room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean and well appointed. The breakfast is excellent and well worth having . Amongst the choice of BandB's on offer in Snowdonia I highly recommend and would stay again.
Very nice town. Easy access to Mt Snowden. The town had everything we needed. Pete’s Eats has good food and so did the pizza restaurant just outside of town. We enjoyed walking up to the castle and around the lake to the slate mine and museum.
Going up the mountain via Steam Train. It was a brilliant experience, a little expensive, but it’s a bucket list moment reaching the summit. We ate at the station Cafe. It’s a greasy spoon. I like Llanberis because it is unspoiled. The gift shop is a little over priced though.
A must visit place because of the location and facilities, history and museums. For anyone interested in walking, climbing, steam engines and narrow gauge railways, this is irresistible. We took the train up Snowdon on a beautiful day and could see for miles. We aren’t a young couple and a little on the disabled side, but there are 3 disabled parking spaces for the Snowdon railway. These are free, but you need to be an early bird to get one! Activities....electric mountain, slate quarry, zip wiring and surf Snowdponia is nearby too.
In Llanberis the attractions such as Mountain Railway, Electric mountain, Pubs etc were within walking distance from our B&B which was great not to be driving everywhere. We were lucky with excellent weather. :)
Lovely little village with the feel of the mountains . Weather not too good on the top Of mt Snowdon but can't control that. Beware to take plenty y of warm clothes no matter what the weather forecast
Very good, went to ride the Lake Railway and the excellent National Slate Museum- free Entry and demonstrations. Only disappointment couldn't visit the Electric Mountain; the tours must be booked and we advise booking on- line before going as it's very popular.

A lot of effort has been made by the owners to give the rooms a luxurious feel and lots of extra touches. Quality bed and mattress, bedding, towels. Room tastefully decorated, cleanliness to a high standard. Breakfast was delicious and local produce used. Car parking was a bonus. Refreshments in the room and toiletries in the bathroom had that extra factor. Would recommend highly as Llanberis is beautiful and will book again.

We had two rooms on the top floor which were big and airy with nice bathrooms. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our dinner in the bistro and the Llanberis path up Snowdon starts just along the road from the hotel.

Fab location. Llanberis is a gorgeous village and this place was just a 10 minute walk to the Llanberis path up to Snowdon. The owner was a lovely chatty lady always available at the ring of a bell.

Loved the peace and serenity. Fruit cake and a bottle of wine left to welcome us. Super comfy beds. Very relaxing and so close to Llanberis. 5 minute drive to Snowdon Mountain Railway. Wish we had booked a longer stay. Very deserving of it's booking.com rating!
