Located in Llandrindod Wells, Holiday Lodge in Beautiful Welsh Rolling Hills features accommodations with a balcony and free WiFi. The lodge was very spacious for a family of 4 and a baby. Very clean and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. There is a lovely ceiling fan for hotter days which we used and was lovely and cool. The lodge is away from other lodges and nowhere is overlooked. We had a fantastic view over the hills and enjoyed sitting on the decking in the evening. There’s lots to explore locally. We took the children to Llandrindod wells where we went on a boat ride around the lake. We also visited the Elan valley and a little town called Kington which was wonderful. Will definitely book again.

We didn't visit LLanbister as accommodation was away from village. The village is in a very rural location. Other small villages and small local towns a drive away. Very good for walking/hiking. Great place to get away from it all, especially out of holiday seasons.
Loved the position in beautiful country side. Lovely welcome of tea and homemade cake with wild birds for company on the patio. Luxurious family bedroom and peaceful night. Difficult to find without satnav. I wouldn’t have the kippers for breakfast again. No dinner was available in the evening and had a dreadful meal in the local pub.
Whenever I have stayed at the Lion have walked in both the village and on the mountain regions around the village. This village itself is wonderful and the villagers whether u meet them at the Lion or outside are very friendly.
The Barn is a great source of respite. It is dog friendly and has a great proprietor who lives next door and nothing is to much trouble to make sure that your break however small is the best time you could imagine.
Llanbister
The breakfast was good. I can tell that the host has tried her best. The fresh milk and the free range eggs were the best. The entrance of the hotel is very scary and looks a bit odd and haunted especially as it is in the middle of nowhere in the mountain.
