Llandudno has something for everyone whatever your age. There’s alway something going on. Can’t beat Wetherspoons for value for money. Where as the Queen Vic was very cosy and inviting with delicious food
Great family place with lots to do from shopping to going up the great Orme.. Lots of restaurants to choose from , we went again to the Taverna lovely Italian restaurant great food friendly staff. Wetherspoons is also good for a cheap meal or snack.
Traditional seaside town with a great pier and beachfront promenade. Plenty of different restaurants and cafes. Interesting shops as well as a large shopping park. Lots of interest and things to do on the adjacent Great Orme.
Llandudno is an old fashioned seaside resort and one of my favourite places in Britain. I have visited several times and look forward to returning. Look out for ALice in Wonderland characters around the town. Both the North Beach and the less commercialised South Beach are attractive. In the main tourist season taking the Tramway up the Great Orme is an enjoyable experience - look out for the angora goats. For the more energetic it's a great hike and the copper mines are interesting. Conwy is just a short bus ride away and is a wonderful and attractive little town, dominated by its magnificent 12th Century castle. Caernarfon , easily accessible by car, is also attractive with some good restaurants and another of those great castles.
What a beautiful and magical place. I was meant to have been elsewhere and booked Llandudno at the last minute; I am so glad I did and would recommend anyone to visit this most breathtaking place. The scenery is just magical, and the trip to Llanddwyn Island is a must if you have the time to visit. The Celtic Cross sitting atop the grassy hills overlooking the Menai Strait and Snowdonia. The historic lighthouses, along with the keeper cottages adorn the beautiful rocky hilltops and sand dunes. I cannot tell you how many different views greet you as you follow the paths along them. The history of this Island make it all the more special, and it is a place everyone should visit and leave a little piece of themselves there to return to one day. The great Orme is also a must. You can walk or drive, and the views are just breathtaking. The Lighthouse at the top is very special, it overlooks the sea from a 70ft cliff edge and has a lovely Cafe just a little further up called 'Be Thankful,' Call in for a creamy Cappucino and sit on the terrace at the top to take in the stunning view across the waters; you won't be disappointed. Saint Tudno's Church ( 12th Century) is a truly spiritual place, full of history and Christian solace. It sits peacefully and tranquil upon the Great Orme overlooking the Irish sea. There is so much more to see and do, and so much more interesting history surrounding this magnificent place. Next time you're thinking of a visit anywhere beautifully different for either escapism or simply breathtaking beauty, then visit Llandudno.
Excellent welsh seaside town with a little bit for everyone. Nice long promenade. Still plenty of shops to look around. Nice local restaurant,(including homemade restaurant) on the Main Street. Highly recommended (Tapps) Real ale pub.

Was met by Linda warm and friendly lady when we booked into hotel, car parked of road outside hotel. Room on second floor, no problems with room clean and tidy. Breakfast cereals and full English breakfast which Steve would make your breakfast as you wanted. Location is very good, very little noise from street, about 10 min walk to West shore beach or Pier, even less to local amenities, This is an Excellent B&B.
Location excellent - sea view was great! Breakfast basic but OK for money. Lovely exterior of hotel but inside needed upgrading in terms of furnishings, carpets, decor and general condition. Strange smell in corridors. felt like an old peoples home. Clean & comfortable though. Basic & adequate en suite facilities. However, was excellent value for o'night stay in Llandudno.
the location was one of the best right outside is the PIER , NODDY TRAIN & SIGHTSEEING BUS,. The facilities were brilliant with lots of personal touches . a simple example was the free tea and coffee with a lovely lounge with sea views. And the BREAKFAST !!!!!!!!! supreme quality highly recommend this hotel and the owners were so friendly with us
Perfect location, near to the Great Orme, the pier, the beach and the city centre. Very beautiful hotel, historically decorated. Cosy bar and living room to sit and have a drink or read a book. This was a fantastic, friendly hotel with an amazing selection of food at breakfast. The quality and amount of food could not be faulted. Staff were all very attentive and friendly and always on hand if needed. Parking was a major bonus. Position of the hotel was perfect, close to pier and shops. Would definitely stay again.
