This laid-back B&B is located in a spectacular setting in the countryside outside Talyllyn. Our accommodations were altogether comfortable, relaxing and peaceful. Our host, Richard, a fascinating and adventurous fellow reminiscent of a character out of a Rudyard Kipling story, went out of his way to attend to our needs. He cooked us a fine English breakfast every morning, and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests at the large communal table. When we asked for guidance regarding a walk, Richard suggested trekking up a nearby hill in the Brecon Beacons. After climbing to the summit to get the 360-degree view of the surrounding peaks and valleys, we came away with a feeling of having achieved something special. Later we again took Richard’s suggestion and dined at a superb Indian restaurant in the town of Brecon, about ten minutes away. He and his wife Surinder are most gracious hosts with a gorgeous property, and should we be in the area in the future, we would happily return to this lovely place without hesitation.

I couldn't recommend this place more. I've stayed at a lot of places before, and Hannah was the best host I've ever experienced, by far! She was so welcoming and she's done such a good job with her house. It is beautifully decorated and I will definitely come back in the future to stay there again! 10/10 from me.
