This was a qintessenrial English pub on the main street in Marlborough we arrived late afternoon and there was plenty of street parking outside. Our room was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfy. We had dinner downstairs in the pub restaurant. The meal was excellent and both the staff and the locals very welcoming. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was hearty, setting us up for the day. There is lots to see around Marlborough so whether you're just passing through or spending a few days we recommend staying here.

A very pretty old market town with several coffee shops. One day/night is enough time to enjoy the town and the pretty walks. Most of the shops are very highly priced clothes shops, with a few touristy things thrown in.

Excellent stay. Very good value for money. Landlords are very kind people, extremely helpful. Nothing is an issue. They are well prepared for travellers with small kids too (offered different options to eat, toys to play). We had our dinner at the pub. The quality of our food surprised us. Breakfast was v delicious too. Good shower and heating. It is not 5 star hotel, but it is just simply very good establishment. Thank you.
