This place is in a great location next to Trent Mersey canal. Huge beer garden. It's a local pub with friendly locals. They don't do food, but a 5 minute walk along the canal gets you to another pub by the lock that does. Linda was working the night I stayed and she is a credit to the place.

Decent sized room. It was clean enough. Check in was quick and easy. The only staff I interacted with was amiable and pleasant.

Great location, easy to find with a very lovely nature reserve across the road, excellent pub that served a wonderful dinner and a great breakfast. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Truly dog friendly. Beds were comfortable, bath had a good shower with nice toiletries. Plenty of on site parking too. A lovely experience over all.
