Conveniently placed on the A272 in the middle of Sussex countryside, this historic 5-star country inn encapsulates a balance between modern sensibility and rustic charm. Late in the day booking that turned our very well - comfortable and well equipped room and a restaurant on site that produced superb food. Good wifi, parking - worthy of a longer stay next time, hopefully.

I have been visiting Midhurst for a number of years. It is a lovely historic Country town nestling under the South Downs. There are some lovely walks in the area. Chichester is within 20 minute drive, with the Festival Theatre. If you like the water there's lots of inlets with lovely towns and villages like Bosham ,Emsworth and Itchenor not far away. The best beach on the Sussex coast is West Wittering. There are lots of good eateries in Midhurst itself and within a few minutes' drive. I had a very good roast at the Greyhound there's also the Royal Oak The Unicorn The White Horse at Graffham. to name just a few.
A nice little place, with a few pubs etc and a fantastic Italian restaurant tucked away down a side street. Awesome food. Decent free parking in the town and very pretty. Accessible to all parts of the South Downs National Park and the south coast resorts.
Midhurst is a perfect location for exploring West Sussex. The town is full of character with historical buildings and a good selection of shops. We dined at the Olive and Vine as well as the Lime and Spice. Both restaurants are well worth a visit.
It is a wonderful base to explore the glorious Sussex Downs with plenty of scope for walking. In easy reach of Fishbourne Palace (Chichester), Petworth House, Uppark and the Weald and Downland Museum.
Lovely countryside for views, walks & cycling but unfortunately curtailed due to storm Dennis. Shopping in Midhurst lot of coffee shops, eateries & charity shops. However hotel spa with pool, jacuzzi, steam room & sauna made for a lovely afternoon when weather was so bad outside.
Historic town centre, full of old buildings, pubs and cafes. Easy to walk round and close to the countryside and Cowdray castle. Home of the South Downs National park Centre with lots of info on the area, the park and walking the South Downs Way
Midhurst
The apartment was perfect for our family. It is very tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. There was a bottle of wine on arrival and the flat was extremely tidy and very clean. The rooms were all very comfortable and well appointed including a large kitchen. The host Laura was always available to communicate via text and was extremely helpful and friendly. I thoroughly recommend The Loft Midhurst and we would happily stay here again.
Midhurst
Perfect for a stop off between Isle of Wight and London. Time to explore National Trust properties nearby and The Weald and Downland Museum (The Repair Shop). Midhurst is a beautiful market town. The flat is very clean and modern and has everything you need to have breakfast and snacks with toaster, kettle, microwave and crockery etc. Would definitely recommend it
Despite the car park being on the A272, the accommodation itself is usefully set back from that main road and is therefore pleasantly quiet. The room we stayed in (number 6) was clean and comfy. The staff were friendly and fun. The dinner menu was quirkily traditional (eg, potted shrimps, devilled lambs' kidneys etc) but everything was tasty and well cooked.
Midhurst
Set in a quiet location, the accommodation far exceeded our expectations. We sat outside for the entire afternoon, sipping drinks and watching the small number of comings and goings between pub terrace and the woods opposite. Menu is Thai; tasty and well presented. The venue had adjusted extremely well to Covid challenges.
Midhurst
Everything was amazing. I would highly highly recommend this to apartment to anyone. Next time I will bring my family as the spare room looked way comfy for them. Drank coffee on the back porch as I did some journaling. Everything in walking distance. All around a very peaceful area. Will stay here again definitely!
The ambience was wonderful Old England. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. Midhurst is an old market town with alot of character and the hotel was right in the centre.
