Offering free WiFi and garden views, Waterside flat is an accommodations located in Plymouth. The room is in great condition, has great interior design, and is sparkling clean. It is also located near to a cute small port. We arrived 2 hours later than the expected arrival time (we arrived at 00:00) and Olga was waiting patiently to hand us the keys, without complaining. Best host and appartment in Plymouth, fully recommended.
Located in Torpoint, Edgcumbe Arms features a restaurant, bar, garden, and free WiFi throughout the property. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Daniel was on arrival very warm and welcoming went out of his way for us and breakfast was huge and a 10/10
We are biased because our son and daughter-in-law live in the village. We have been here many times and like the area. A friendly village with a good range of shops. There is also good access to Mount Edgcombe, Kingsand, Cawsand, and lovely walks from Maker Heights along the coastal path and around the Rame Peninsula.
Friendly pubs, Posh Nosh with Chris and Daniel serving us fabulous fish and chips and entertaining us and their mum for making her amazing honeycomb ice-cream. The Honey Rooms coffee. Widdicombes lovely bread and fresh produce. The newsagents for our daily paper and their great selection of cards and magazines. The Co-op, the Premier shop, the Indian restaurant and the chemist. The lovely Millbrook Lake and sea wall walk. Nearby Mount Edgcumbe. These are just some of the reasons I love Millbrook.
A typical Cornish village, narrow roads and limited free parking. We ate at the Devon and Cornwall Inn and the local Indian Restaurant, both of which were excellent. Near our hotel were two convenience stores open until 10pm and an ATM.
The signs aren't great for Millbrook but it is a lovely little village to visit with some quaint buildings and features. The Devon and Cornwall Inn is a must for great atmosphere, pleasant rooms and great food. Wish we could have stayed for the live music
Millbrook is a very pleasant Cornish village to visit. Some lovely restaurants to eat in and some beautiful views. The roads around Hillbrook/Torpoint are a little narrow and you need to be careful driving. Perfect location for our reason visiting Millbrook.
Passing through on the south coast walk, just watch out for the hill down into the village and back the next day, try the Indian for a real Asian/Cornish experience, take your pint from the Devon and Cornwall pub opposite or a bottle of wine from the Coop. Great value
Lovely location. Wonderful breakfast, Comfy beds and pillows, Friendly hosts
