Accommodation was excellent, room was very clean and spacious with a separate area to sit in and a large comfortable bed. Made to feel very welcome a slice of cake and a cup of tea on arrival, excellent breakfast with a wide variety of choice. Accommodation is accessed separately from the owners property and the other rooms allowing us to come and go as we pleased throughout the day. I have recommended this b&b to my friends and would gladly stay there again.

We absolutely loved The Coach House.
We absolutely loved The Coach House. Such an atmospheric entrance as you drive into a large gravel driveway and are greeted by one of the most beautiful and majestic Mid Victorian houses I've ever seen! It really sets the scene for a truly special stay! The surrounding gardens are well stocked and beautiful with wonderful tall trees. We were very warmly welcomed a lovely lady, Sarah who showed us to the apartment next to the house which didn't disappoint! Beautiful front door entrance which is sympathetic to the grandure of the Main house. The apartment itself was charming and I begun to realise just what excellent value for money we were getting! The apartment had everything you need for a truely relaxing and comfortable stay, with lovely views from every window! The owners obviously care very much about cleanliness as I couldn't fault it (and I'm picky) as everything was spotless! Oh and the bed was so comfortable! Apart from the birds there was absolute peace and quite! Milton Abbot is just a short drive from the beautiful market town of Tavistock, where you will find some great shops and lovely indoor market. If you like Chinese food I highly recommend The Cantonese Kitchen in Market Street as it is by far the best Chinese food I've ever had and such generous portions too! Next to Tavistock is the stunning Dartmoor National Park with incredible scenery from moorlands to wonderful forests and many natural attractions. There is plenty to do and see for free and also some very good National Trust properties to visit too! We will definitely be staying again and again! A real treat and wonderful find in Devine Devon!
