There are no doubt many ways in which a property can achieve high ratings on this site but in case of Chyheira it is this truly amazing hospitality of the owners and the way they run the property that does the trick. Every single point on their score is absolutely justified, I'd give them a hundred if I could! Roy will provide you with any possible bit of information you might need while Jayne will serve you an amazing breakfast, just the way you like it. We especially enjoyed our double room and how tastefully it was decorated. It's all the little details and attention of the hosts that really makes it the best B&B experience that we ever had.

We have been going to Mullion for a long time and have a huge affection for it. We love visiting The Lizard, which now has the added interest of the archaeological dig going on - and the Polpeor Cafe has reopened which means you can sit with coffee and carrot cake and seal watch!!! There are lovely walks, Mullion Harbour is very pretty, the church is beautiful and is famous for it's pews and there are good places to visit. Porthleven - if you go there visit Mike Lacey's gallery called Waves. He does underwater photography - google the Cornish Heart it is an amazing story. St Kevern is a sweet village and has the added interest of Roskilly's organic ice cream farm!! Poldu Cove is gorgeous and the Polurrion Hotel has lovely gardens, a spa and it's own beach which is gorgeous. Very special part of the world.

You definitely need a car to get to this place.

You definitely need a car to get to this place. Its way off the beaten track and is an ideal place for a few days rest and relaxation as opposed to a base for traveling around the region. Fantastic facilities, including a lovely spa and small swimming pool. Lovely bar area, which could suit a group of friends or couples meeting up. The restaurant and the overall quality of the food is the biggest let down otherwise its a 10/10 facility.

there are no downsides to a stay at this hotel. however...

there are no downsides to a stay at this hotel. however bring nerves of steel for driving along the country lanes. not suitable for people who normaly drive on the right. or normally only travel on eight lane highways, for me the country lanes where a high spot. The food on offer at the hotel is excelent in both the bar and the restraurant, as is the service.

Absolutely lovely stay.

Absolutely lovely stay. Stayed at hotel for the entire time to relax. Menu in the hotel could be expanded a bit with a few more options. The bar people was excellent really helpful. The Spa was awesome and the lady providing the service was seriously knowledgeable about her work and provided really good info and help. I would come back for another stay.

The location is stunning. Hotel is fabulous and traditional. Very clean and comfortable. Spa is beautiful and tranquil and not too busy. Food delicious and rooms were very comfortable and welcoming. All staff in the hotel were super helpful and welcoming. Will definately book to stay again.

The hotel is in a beautiful spot with incredible views and they really make the most of it with the lounge/bar and restaurant spaces. The gardens are also beautiful and the outdoor pool had a great spot. The staff were lovely and very helpful and attentive. We had lunch in the vista bar and it was very good. Breakfast was excellent too with plenty of choice and freshly cooked hot dishes. It was excellent value for Cornwall in the height of the summer holidays.

Fantastic attic room with beautiful views towards the sea over Mullion. Lovely staff and excellent breakfast. Ample parking available at long stay car park just a short walk away on a donation basis. ( well worth it, in Cornwall and to support essential )

Unspoilt old pub with small cozy dining rooms. Good food, freshly cooked. Good choice of beers. Mullion is not an interesting village but it is in easy walking distance of Mullion Cove and the beach.
