Location is hard to beat. Walking route up the hill to an old iron age settlement is right off the drive and provides stunning views of the sea in both directions. The mariners trail and Wales Coast path are just down the road. The house has stunning views from all the windows and the conservatory is a lovely treat. It's a warm and large house with plenty of seating options for everyone. The beds were large and comfortable. There are 3 showers and a bath, the hot water was instant. Spoke to the host on the phone before arrival and she was very friendly with useful information about the house. Nefyn itself has a Spar with local meat for sale, a pharmacy, Premier, cafe, pizza takeaway and a pub that serves food.

My family originated from Nefyn and I had lost a great great...

My family originated from Nefyn and I had lost a great great grandfather to a shipwreck off Anglesey( the Royal Charter). The Maritime Museum was good and I enjoyed the Bara Brith. The beach was stunning even with the wind and rain. The sunny day we left in showed us the interchange between sea and hills and the dazzling bright colours of the foliage. Loved the sheep and cattle too in the fields.

Nefyn is a quite seaside town on the Llyn penninsula.

Nefyn is a quite seaside town on the Llyn penninsula. If you are looking for a quiet place to spend a weekend or a week relaxing, lazing on the beach when the weather permits, taking in the beautiful views, walking or hiking around the surrounding hilly countryside, then Nefyn may well be the place for you. There are golf links at nearby Morfa Nefyn. If you are looking for 5-star hotels, sophisticated nightlife or shopping, then Nefyn is not the place for you! The public bus service is limited, and so a car will be useful if you want to explore the tourist sites in the surrounding areas.

Nefyn itself is only a small town.

Nefyn itself is only a small town. There is a very good community pub and a very well stocked Spar convenience store. The road to the beach is very steep for walkers and cars alike but the beach is long and sandy and very pleasant.

Very well equipped old cottage, especially in the kitchen. Furnishings, bed and, linens all of a good quality. Lovely quiet location. Plenty of lovely walks nearby. Maps and local information provided. The Nanhoron Arms Hotel provides very nice food. We would certainly recommend staying at this cottage
