Located in Pishill, 13 miles from Reading, White Pond Farm provides a garden and free WiFi. The wonderful bread and eggs, the flowers on the table. I'm sure the welcome would have been so much more special in other circumstances. I hope to go back when things are normal again
Handywater Cottage B&B in Henley on Thames provides adults only accommodations with a restaurant, a garden and a terrace. This 5-star guesthouse offers luggage storage space. A perfect little escape to the countryside. Natalie and Raymond were perfect hosts and made us feel very at home. Would definitely visit again.
Located in Wallingford, 2.7 mi from Wallingford Castle, Garden Room, The Meadows, Oakley Court provides accommodations with a garden and free private parking. This is a lovely place to stay. It was super quiet and secluded. We arrived at night which made it a bit tricky to find but the directions given were perfect. The TV was great and there was lots of water provided. Nice to have tea and coffee in the room too. I will definitely stay here again.
Located in Henley on Thames, Henley self catering House provides self-catering accommodations with a terrace and free WiFi. The property features garden views and is 8 miles from Reading. Perfect for a family. Owner Paul responded very quickly and fulfilled our request promptly We locked ourselves out of the house. The response was very quick, and a spare key waited in the lockbox upon our return. There were plenty of sheets and towels on hand. A pack and play was also available for our daughters baby. The view of the Chilterns was lovely from the house, and it was lovely to have a garden for my 4 year old granddaughter to run around in. Great location and parking available on the street.
Located in Henley on Thames in the Oxfordshire region, Simmons House has a garden. Location was the reason for choosing and it didn't disappoint being so close to the town and river. Plus is dog friendly which was paramount. All rooms were generous in size and bedrooms has comfortable beds. Amole kitchen equipment and utensils. There wasn't anything we lacked. Garden was beautiful and a real asset. Host/contact person was extremely helpful. We could not hesitate to recommend or indeed book again.
Food is excellent and the breakfast plentiful at the White Hart inn. We ate at the inn one evening and highly recommend the boboti and the pavlova. The bed was too hard for me. Nettlebed is central for exploring this part of the Chilterns. Henley on Thames is worth a visit and if your peckish, I recommend Pirate Pizzas moored near to the Rowing Museum. Lovely fresh stone baked pizza with even boat grown herbs. Please visit Nuffield Place. It is superb! Absolutely fascinating and the volunteers are full of information about William Morris of the motor car fame. The house is just as they lived in it, with their belongings in place. Lady Nuffield’s love of sewing is also evident. Their story is really worth hearing and seeing. We had a wander around Wallingford also. Some lovely little individual shops - for a change!
