Great location right off of the main road. The restaurant was attached so it was easy to make meal accommodation- and the food was superb. Beds were comfy enough and bathroom was updated. Love having tea, water and hot chocolate in the room.

Very clean, tidy and well thought out. Lots of small touches like plenty of mirrors, thick blankets, comfy beds, milk in the fridge, a good variety of tea bags, well stocked kitchen, and even a little Christmas tree... especially liked the walk in closet with a light ....we will be back... Thank you

Teign Head Apartment, hotel in Newton Abbot

Teign Head Apartment offers accommodations in Newton Abbot, a 17-minute walk from Newton Abbot Racecourse and 16 miles from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium.

Everything was great. We instantly felt relaxed and welcome. The apartment was well equipped, immaculately clean, and very comfortable. The bed was new and gave us good nights sleep! We liked having an outside area to sit in the sunshine. The grocery items provided on our arrival were an added bonus. The location was good for National Trust properties in the area and the coast. We found a number of local pubs providing excellent food, particularly the Ten Tors Inn and the Barn Owl.

Bellamarsh Farm B&B, hotel in Newton Abbot

Offering garden views, Bellamarsh Farm B&B in Newton Abbot offers accommodations and a garden. Both free Wifi and private parking are accessible at the bed and breakfast free of charge.

Wonderful welcome. A very old house located quite close to the A38, with internal updates in sympathy with the original character. Beautiful room - very comfortable bed. Julie was a great host - nothing too much trouble. Breakfast at a time to suit us and plentiful. Would definitely visit again and hopefully meet the dogs next time! Close enough to walk into the local village for a meal across the fields, but rural enough to give the dog some local exercise near the river.

Down The Garden Path Vintage Caravan B&B , Dartmoor, hotel in Newton Abbot

8 miles from Newton Abbot Racecourse in Newton Abbot, Down The Garden Path Vintage Caravan B&B, Dartmoor offers accommodations with access to spa facilities and wellness packages.

The hosts are two of the most welcoming and considerate people we have ever stayed with. We loved the attention to detail and the sauna, ‘pamper packages’ and quality of the food were amazing. We never given a ‘10’ review before, but this deserves an ‘11’!

Good place to stay if you want to try out Devons lido's.

Good place to stay if you want to try out Devons lido's. Good rail links and buses are OK. The shopping area is worth a visit too. Try Warren's cream tea takeaway while you're there...and remember it's jam then cream!! check recent reviews if you're thinking of staying in the Keyberry Hotel..in Aug 24 it was truly awful. Only consider it if you're booking for someone you don't like.

Newton Abbot is a nice little town, with a decent array of shops. If you have little ones, you must go to iTown as it's a great place for toddlers and Primary School kids. The walk along the river and the Hackney Marshes are fantastic and the racecourse looks to be well maintained.

A lovely small town which is ideally located to explore both Dartmoor and the many attractions of South Devon. There are a good range of places to eat. For me, the highlight was the superb food and service at The Eastern Eye.

We didnt actually visit Newton Abbot itself, but the area is great for exploring Dartmoor, the East Devon coast and visiting Exeter. Wonderful food at The Cridford Inn in Trusham, Home Farm Cafe on the Parke Estate, The Ridge Cafe, Haldon Forest Park, The Cafe on The Green at Widecombe in the Moor and The Thatched Tavern at Maidencombe. All of these eateries can include great walks and are dog friendly.

Extremely high quality bathroom that is on a level with top quality hotels around the world, huge walk in shower. Delicious Full breakfast included, table laid beautifully and every detail thought of, dining room overlooking horses and buzzard again. Lovely welcoming host. I wished I could have stayed longer and I will definitely go back when passing that way again! Easy to find off the A38 and plenty of parking. Thank you

You couldn't find better hosts than at the Keyberry Hotel. Excellent dinner and cooked breakfast. We appreciated having marmalade The manager went out of his way to help us access the hotel as there were roadworks that evening. Very comfortable bed. Warm and quiet room. Private off-road parking.
