The Old School provide comfortable self-catering apartments in Dalavich, on the banks of Loch Awe in the Scottish Highlands. We liked the location, it was very quiet. The owners were very welcoming and the apartment was clean and had everything you needed.
Argyllholidaycottage Loch Awe is set in Braevallich. The property is 23 mi from Inveraray and free private parking is featured. Far from the madding crowd and tucked away in a stunning location. I was told by the host that previous guests had reported the boiler was broken and was awaiting an engineer, however after our first night I followed the instructions in the property and had everything toasty for our stay. The open fire made it really homely too. I loved that I could walk for miles straight out of the front door and it’s nestled in an area with the most ancient of Scottish historical monuments and vast areas of untouched natural beauty. Take bird feed and peanuts and there are red squirrels and birds aplenty.
Located by the banks of the Loch Awe, the secluded Loch Aweside Forest Cabins are set in woodland, forest or loch side locations. We had a great time in the cabin. It’s an hour from Oban directly at the lakeside in the middle of nature. It was calm and peaceful and we all loved our time there

Located in Lochgilphead in the Argyll and Bute region, Shepherd's Cottage features a garden. Plenty space for 3 of us. Cosy living room with a log fire. Nice modern kitchen. Beautiful, quiet location. Had a lovely few days staying here. Excellent communication from host.
Powdermills B & B features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Inveraray, 7.5 mi from Inveraray Castle. I can't recommend this place enough, definitely one of the highlights of our trip through Scotland. John and Sue are delightful and friendly hosts and made us feel right at home. The home and grounds are beautiful, surrounded by nature and farm animals. The breakfast was delicious as well. The room was clean, tidy and spacious. Everything absolutely perfect.
