Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable with a feather duvet, fresh milk was available to make tea in our room. Breakfast was high quality, cooked to order. We had our evening meal in the Hurtwood's pub which had a fab community feel, served excellent food. The whole stay was wonderful, we will be back!

The hotel looks very classy! It was very clean and the staff was very very pleasant. We only stayed for one night, but it's the perfect place if you have a long layover. Our room was right in the courtyard area, which was very picturesque. Our shower FELT AMAZING! I will definitely recommend, especially for a long layover.

This was convenient for an overnight stay in the area at an...

This was convenient for an overnight stay in the area at an attractive price. We were only looking for a bed for the night and this fitted th bill perfectly. The building is overdue a refurb as the were many plastic containers lying around to catch rainwater leaks (There is a lot of rain at the moment to make matters worse!). Staff were friendly and helpful. A good breakfast in the morning was helpful. This location would be stunning during the summer months and give a good base for exploring the area.

My room was a bit dated but very comfortable and clean. I had a lovely bath and a very good night's sleep. There were 2 big windows in my room which let in lots of light and as it was a very sunny day this was very welcome. I had a very nice meal in the evening and a good breakfast. Parking is very good as there is a huge car park next to the hotel and the area is fantastic for walks and beautiful scenery, especially in Spring and Summer.

Nice pleasant place to stay. The lady who looked after the hotel was very helpful and polite. Breakfast was very good. Overall, considering we stayed for one night, I would definitely recommend it.

It's a pub hotel. The staff had a smile and were very friendly. The room was small but well proportioned.The car park is enormous ( If you had a trailer/truck it would be ideal )
