With cozy log fires, a real ale pub and traditional restaurant, The Raven has refurbished rooms each featuring a flat-screen TV. Breakfast was great and staff very accommodating. Loved the location as handy to walk around the shops and close enough to drive and visit family members and also visit Basingstoke canal and Odiham castle. A wonderful weekend break, lucky to have the sun shining and very much enjoyed the Elton John tribute act on at the hotel on the Friday evening.

Take a stroll down the lane to the canal where you can take...
Take a stroll down the lane to the canal where you can take a boat trip or have a drink in the pub garden. If you're up for a walk then follow the canal path to Odiham castle and loop back around into the village. There's some beautiful corn fields behind the church that are also worth a stroll though. After all that walking there's a great selection of restaurants, pubs and cafes for re-fuelling, plus a couple of lovely antique shops.

Very nice village with that village feel to it. People were friendly. Nice walks in the area. Lots to see in the village itself. Nice select shops, although I did feel sorry for the shop with the play area above it, very noisy for shoppers below. Good cafe and restaurants nearby. Are at The Mill House. Fabulous. Enjoyed going round the Church obviously well looked after and the displays were good and thought provoking. Lots of other places to visit close by too, with good road access.

Absolutely wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff made the stay better. Everyone greeted us and helped us with a smile. Food was excellent. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and both were fantastic. Service was brilliant. Keep it up
