Odiham is a beautiful village with many amenities and is very central to many famous destinations within I hour from Windsor .Ascot Portsmouth, Winchester, Legoland and many other lovely and interesting places to visit
Take a stroll down the lane to the canal where you can take a boat trip or have a drink in the pub garden. If you're up for a walk then follow the canal path to Odiham castle and loop back around into the village. There's some beautiful corn fields behind the church that are also worth a stroll though. After all that walking there's a great selection of restaurants, pubs and cafes for re-fuelling, plus a couple of lovely antique shops.
Very nice village with that village feel to it. People were friendly. Nice walks in the area. Lots to see in the village itself. Nice select shops, although I did feel sorry for the shop with the play area above it, very noisy for shoppers below. Good cafe and restaurants nearby. Are at The Mill House. Fabulous. Enjoyed going round the Church obviously well looked after and the displays were good and thought provoking. Lots of other places to visit close by too, with good road access.
I know Odiham well and my family lived nearby and we often find an excuse to return. The beauty of Odiham is that it has a wide main street with many Georgian and other listed property - and points of interest in many of the nearby villages. We have eaten at The Bel and Dragon, the restaurant opposite and Kings in recent times.
Odiham is a lovely town which unfortunately I wasn't in long enough to form an opinion but of what I saw I really liked. The town had some great restaurants and if I ever get the chance will be back again.
