The staff and locals were extremely friendly. We were made most welcome. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with all the facilities you need. We had an excellent stay! If you are looking for the Dorchester keep looking but if you want a friendly local with a warm welcome this is it!

1)We loved the English breakfast a lot 2)the waiters were so extremely kind and especially the Scottish front desk man employee was so very kind and generous he helped us carry our luggage upstairs to our room 3) the lady employee was so very kind she gave us so much coffee n tea packets too and another employee was kind enough to provide us information to get a better deal if we want to come back to stay for a month or so in the future.

Very comfortable , great location .

Very comfortable , great location . The buffet breakfast was not good . I asked why they had changed from table service and was told that this was due to the large number of guests staying that night . Thank goodness this was only a temporary arrangement .

-Be organised when dealing with bills -Always include a breakfast when a suite is booked -A minibar is a must -Free water bottles are useful upon arrival - Pen and paper in a suite is also useful if you want to write something - making a suite warm for a customer arriving at 6 pm is very important in particular if he or she have ysed your hotel before

Staff friendly and helpful. Room basic and over priced. Not like the pics! The room furniture was basic and towels old and scratchy. We were not advised breakfast was not included so was additional £29. It too was basic buffet that ran out and was luke warm. Not impressed! Overall very disappointed for the price paid.

No listed help in the bedroom as there usually is in a Hotel room. The window in the bedroom would not stay open it was a sash window that slid back down as-soon as you opened it. Lighting by the dressing table was not adequate. Seating and coffee table was not what you would expect in a bedroom it was garden furniture and there was only one chair to sit on!!

The room was very comfortable and had a nice view.

The room was very comfortable and had a nice view. We ate breakfast in the main restaurant and it was really good. The location is so good for everything that we needed. I would have preferred the room be cleaned more often, with jet-lag and sleeping a little later the room was not touched for most of our stay.

The menu for the restaurant was very selected. The lager we paid for was mis sold for another lager. Was very disappointed to fold a clump full of hair of the side of our bath panel Also The gym was very poor with limited gym equipment.

Quiet, spacious room with extremely comfortable bed. Generous bathroom, everything looked newly refurbished and spotless. Will definitely return. We stayed for proximity to the cruise terminal, and this hotel was perfect. Hadn't expected it to feel as luxurious as it did. Great night's sleep.

I love this hotel. Its pure class!!! Great service at check in, we had an executive room which was pure luxury! The grounds are superb and I just love staying here, this is a real treat for me!!! Breakfast was good quality with some good choices of what to have.
