The breakfast was delicious and the dinner recommendation we were given was spot on.

Great location close to the A21, ideal for trips to the coast, especially Rye, Camber & Hastings. Also within half an hour of Battle Abbey. Several pubs in the village to choose from and a large supermarket to stock up on supplies.
It's near Rye and other places to visit. We walked from Rye to Camber. Beautiful. A lovely walk to Peasmarsh Church. We will definately be staying at The Great Escape again. A Jempsons superstore near too if just fancy sandwiches or snacks. Food great at The Oak which is joined to where we stayed
Peasmarsh itself is a quite charming place. It has a local market and petrol station/car wash. Pub and accomodation for visitors. We used Peasmarsh as a base for visiting places such as Rye which is a very charming town which reminded me of the good old days Camber Sands which has one of the best beaches you will find anywhere in the country. It is situated in a lovely part of the country. We stayed at the Great Escape which is a row of chalets with bedroom and shower room. A nice veranda with a small table and two chairs outside and in. In the grounds of a pub called The Oak. This is a smashing pub for really good food and drink at reasonable prices. The staff were always very welcoming ensuring we enjoyed our time there
Great Host and staff. Breakfast very good. Chalets very clean and nice surroundings. Had dinner at the pub on site the Oak, very good food and service, catered for dietary requirements. Ideal area for exploring surrounding areas.
The warm welcome, pleasant tranquil situation, a nice front garden with seating. Ample room for one/two people, hot shower. Pub next door for food (not breakfast) ,two other pubs and cafe a short drive away
Stalls are very friendly and helpful for our stay. Room isn’t big but enough for our family staying for short period. They have little fridge that is very helpful and 2 mineral water was there! Thanks.
