Offering lake views, Duncraig Castle Bed and Breakfast in Plockton has accommodations, a bar, a garden, a private beach area and a terrace. Beautiful property, loved just walking around and enjoying! Amazing breakfast and friendly staff. Wish we stayed for another night! We also enjoyed the small town of Plockton nearby.
Beautiful town with an 'interesting' drive in and out. Locals range from friendly to slightly odd. Some of the Plockton hotel bar staff/punters were annoyingly middle class. Be prepared for snobbery.
Beautiful village which seems to have its own little microclimate with palm trees growing along the shores of the loch. Lovely to visit out of season but I'm sure it must be a busy little place in the summer!..
A wondrous situation and a sweet village! The local people are very friendly, had some good 'craic' in the local hostelries. Had a great meal in the Plockton Inn but the food in the Plockton Hotel also looked good.
Plockton is lovely and with a great choice of places to eat - Plockton Inn in our case which provided very good food, and interesting conversations with other guests. Our host at Kierans Hoose went above and beyond to make us welcome - thank you Natasha.
Going at this time of year (January) means you avoid all the coach parties that make the place overcrowded in the summer. Some places were closed at this time of year, but had excellent meals in Plockton Shores and the Plockton Inn.
We had wonderful weather in May . The views are very lovely the village a hidden gem. There are some good places to eat and the walks around about great. A good place to explore the area around or if are a sailor a good stopping place.
