Staff was very friendly and helpful, arranging a table in the restaurant for me both nights. It was possible to book breakfast for only 1 day, since the other day I had to leave before breakfast. The room itself was very quiet, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, friendly staff again, and very accommodating. The Kelpies really are about 10-15 minutes walking. Other sights are within driving distance. Free parking, plenty of space.

The place was amazing. It's a lovely garden to sit out in.

The place was amazing. It's a lovely garden to sit out in. The property was huge and very homely. It had everything you needed. The owners even let us keep our bikes in the utility room so that they were safe. Dorothy and her husband were very accommodating. I would stay there again. The only thing we said might be a good idea, was there were no USB charging points anywhere.

Polmont is a lovely village, has everything you need...

Polmont is a lovely village, has everything you need especially if you don't have a car. There us a restaurant, post Office, shop Chinese Take-Away, a Chippy and of course the Black Bull is a bar too which is great.

Fantastic location, brilliant to have dedicated parking. Property was so comfortable and clean, felt like a proper home away from home. Super handy for the wee pub over the road, has a corner shop for any bits you need and is in easy walking distance of Polmont station for links to Stirling, Glasgow & Edinburgh.

Located around 10 minutes walk from Polmont station so has good transport links, with a couple of takeaways close by (with a couple of shops in the local area). Bed was comfortable with the window having both blind & curtains to help block out the light. Good-sized bedroom with the shared bathroom close by.

Overall, it was a great place to stay in Polmont. With relatively easy access to the train station, where we got a train to Edinburgh yesterday, and today to Glasgow. Quiet location, with a massive garden. Continental breakfast was a bonus! Lovely staff!
