Swallow Barn Wales is located in Merthyr Tydfil. Located 11 miles from Cyfarthfa Castle, the property has a garden and free private parking. Everything was amazing. Steps to ensure guests safety in the current situation were great every step had been taken to ensure safety. We had the most amazing night and would highly recommend staying here. We've already told our friends and family to come and experience how amazing it is. breakfast produce was lovely and all part the fun cooking it in our camp kitchen. Welsh cakes were beautiful too. Thank you for a fantastic stay. We can't wait to come back
Located in Abercynon in the Glamorgan region, Valley Views features a garden. The air-conditioned property is 29 miles from Brecon. View was beautiful. Lovely, comfortable place and had everything to make you feel at home. Host was easy to communicate with and always ready to help. Thanks
My daughter lives in Ponty, l live in the Midlands so it's nice to treat ourselves when l come for a visit. We had a lovely evening in the Blue bell hotel and breakfast in Wetherspoons. Really enjoyed our time in Ponty, thanks Wales.
A great refurbished hotel, spacious rooms, lovely soft furnishings, nice reception areas, long way up a hill might be a very real problem in winter, cleaning/room staff lovely, some of the senior staff need to get to grips with customer service criteria as a bit hostile. Lovely marquee with beautiful drapes. Food hit and miss in that wedding meal fine but evening buffet was disgusting. This hotel could be fantastic needs a walk through advice.
An interesting old market town that is steeped in history and slowly regenerating as a focal point of the Valleys. Shopping is limited but functional but there are sufficient to meet basic requirements. Reasonable restaurants and cafes, the highlight is Ynysangharad Park and Memorial gardens. Well served by road and rail links.
Get around and look at the Heritage Park. Learn about the mining heritage, very enlightening and confronting. Ate at the hotel, food was well prepared wholesome and the venue was very busy with locals, always a good sign
As we were visiting family and parts of the Rhondda I remembered from my childhood I can't really comment fairly but we had a wonderful lunch at the Brynffynon, Llanwonno. Both food and service was excellant.
1) No TV 2) Fridge not cleaned. 3) The GPS sent me above the location up-the-hill but the person helping the landlord (abroad at the moment) was unable to help me finding the location; I had to ask a total stranger to give me the much needed directions!!! 4) I tried to use the oven, unsuccessfully! 5) The microwave do not work as you would expect! You have to try a couple of minutes until it starts! 6) I washed some clothes and used the dryer! Very old material altogether and extremely noisy!! 7) A worker came on Thursday 04/7/19 and left a lot of dust around and on the Oven... dirty place!!!
Had toast in our room so didn’t have full experience
Great location, great food and friendly staff.
