Located in the tranquil Portlethen Village, 2 minutes’ walk from the bay and the skerry of Craigmaroinn, The Neuk offers free parking, free Wi-Fi, an on-site bar and a restaurant. Meal was delicious. Last but not least walkpath along the shore was breath-taking!🌊
Located 7 miles from Beach Ballroom, Apartrooms Aberdeen has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. The choice of apartments to suit everyone. Wheelchair access apartment was appreciated by my elderly parents. The apartments were clean and comfortable and and kitchen facilities well covered.
Town and Country Charleston Apartments has city views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Aberdeen, 3.4 miles from Beach Ballroom. Pictures were sent to me, showing how to get to the apartment from the main road, where l can park and collect the keys. A local Sanisbury was less than a minute walk from the apartment. There is also a big retail park about 9 minutes drive from the apartment for your fuel. There is a huge Asda, an Aldi, an Argos and many others shop like B&M as well which was very convinient.
Located in a secluded hamlet close to the sea, Toadhall Rooms offers accommodations with free on-site parking and WiFi. Really comfortable and clean facilites. Close to the shore, could eventually see dolphins Yummy breakfast.Lovely and dedicated hostess.
The old village of Portlethen was very friendly. It is out of the way so you’ll need a car or money for taxis. The rooms at “the Neuk” come with a continental breakfast, which suited us perfectly. The food at “The Neuk” was different and very tasty, highly recommended! Portlethen is very near Stonehaven and Aberdeen in the car, perfect for exploring. Also went to Peterhead Prison Museum. Even though it was cold and we the only people on the premises and on the set of headphones tour, it was very informative and intriguing. I highly recommend this too. Thank you Gerry and May at “The Neuk” we enjoyed the holiday and your hospitality and the yummy food. We will return for sure!
We were only there for two days but it is a beautiful part of the world and very close to other cities of interest so you can combine cultural trips with the relaxing countryside and being close to the sea is always a bonus.
the weather was not very good when we visited and I think on a nice sunny day it would have been a lot better but there is play park right opposite The Neuk which would have been ideal for a summer day for my grandaughter. Nice little place to visit
There isn’t much at Portlethen, it’s a jumping off point for other coastal towns and aberdeenshiire. We chose it for proximity to location of the novels of Lewis Grassic Gibbon. There is a nice center for him in Arbuthnot.
Portlethen shops are not too far away but you do need a car. There's an Asda homebase & B&M store and several others. and plenty of parking too. May one of the owners does all the cooking and does a lot of home baking and is a big hit with the locals, prices are reasonable.
The cleanliness ,the helpfulness of the owner the location in old Portlethen. Couldn’t fault the place .
