Me & Mrs Jones has a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Portstewart. What a fabulous hotel! It’s eccentric and exotic and very lavishly furnished. Loads of fun, I wish we could have stayed longer. Bed was super comfy. Dinner and breakfast were both outstanding and the dining room staff were very friendly. After all the old Victorian places around the area, this refurbished hotel is a breath of fresh air.

A very nice small town, plenty of places to eat, shop, on the water, great for those who like to walk, close to the beach. Many Bed & Breakfast all near the main street. Great place for kids to crab, kids pool and splash zone fountain for kids to play in, beach within walking distance. Food & music at Harrys Shack was outstanding, ice cream at Morellis is a must.
Portstewart is an amazing little sea side town. If you like golf and site seeing, this would be a great place to stay for a few days and travel around. Lots of enjoyable day trips well within driving distance.
Portstewart is a busy little town. There is a fantastic walking path along the waters edge that ends up on the beach if you start from "downtown." Portstewart is a short drive to Giants Causeway and Bushmills. We visited both and loved it!
Close to the causeway and bushmills. Very nice rural scenery. Not much traffic. Good home base for exploring areas nearby The bushmill Inn is really cool. We ate at their pub. Food was good- a little fancy and a little pricey but our teens found something to eat. The Carmel dessert is amazing! Worth eating at just to see the Inn. Book tours for Bushmills distillery in advance. Go to Causeway in the evening after 6 to see it with fewer crowds and not be rushed.
Portstewart is understated, when you say your going to the north west everyone thinks Portrush, I will forever now be saying Portstewart, it's clean, tidy, great wee shops and a great location for sightseeing, you have Giants Causeway, Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge, Bushmills, plus lots lots more very close.
Beautiful and friendly community. Great beach and cliff walks, golf clubs, restaurants, shops etc. Easy to walk around, but also great local transportation. Easy access to Antrium Coastal route attractions, Carrick-A-Rede, Giant's Causeway etc.
Original, quirky, heart and soul has been put into it. Immaculate. 10/10. Stayed less than a year ago and wondered then if they could maintain their standards. They absolutely have and might even have added to this beautiful hotel. They haven’t sat on their laurels thinking they’ve got it made. Keep it up.
Very nice modern decor, more room than I expected and great view from the lounge area. Would normally stay in a hotel but definitely preferred this. Every appliance you would need and warm and comfortable rooms. Very good secure parking and just a short stroll to the town. All in all would highly recommend
This hotel was relatively close to all of the major tourist sites in Northern Ireland, which was great. There’s a nice promenade area with lots of restaurants just 5 minutes away. The room was clean, not counting a few stains on the bedding/furniture. The staff was accommodating and helpful when needed.
Wonderful host, excellent well maintained accommodation on the sea shore. It's a little piece of heaven, nothing like going to sleep at night with the waves breaking just outside your window. Will definitely stay there again. Excellent location for exploring the Northern Ireland coastline.
The owners were so welcoming and friendly! We enjoyed the living quarters with friends/family in the evening as we were traveling as a group of 6. The location was great as well. Easy to get to Portstewart, Giants Causeway and more. Would highly recommend this place!
The house was perfect for our group. The beds were comfortable and we all slept very well after our night out. Location was great. 15/20 minute walk into the town. So much to see and do in the surrounding area. We will be back again in the future I'm sure.
Right in the heart of a harbor town. Harbor is just a couple minutes walk from the hotel. Also nearby is some shopping and restaurants/bars. Room was clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the pub downstairs and it was delicious!
The house is beautiful, the yard is beautiful and the view from the dining room window is quite lovely. Our host, Sean, was very pleasant to talk with. Breakfast was one of the best we've had during our two weeks in Ireland.
We were only around for a very short stay. Rick the host was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cosy. We will definitely come back and enjoy Portstewart some more. Thank you Rick!
The hosts were generous with their time, humor, and kindness. We were sad to leave but knew just what to see next due to our host. Love our stay in Portstewart at the Cul-Erg.
Good value for your money. Environmental friendly hotel, friendly staffs, good location. Due to eco settings, the shower is a little weak, but you can still take a hot shower.
