Located on the High Street in the charming market town of Stony Stratford, this historic 15th-century coaching inn offers bright, airy accommodations with free Wi-Fi and tasty food. We love this hotel and usually stay there when we visit friends. We didn't have breakfast this time, but it is usually very good. There is a full dinner menu and they also serve also pub lunch meals. The hotel is in the main street of a friendly popular market town near to Milton Keynes shopping centre, and has many unique shops and places of interest.
Located in the historic town of Stony Stratford, just 12 minutes from Milton Keynes, this traditional 16th-century inn offers wholesome food and real ales. Booking.com had messed up our reservation. We had received an email to say that the reservation had been cancelled but I didn't see the email until just before we arrived. However, Jacky at the hotel 'saved the day'. She couldn't have been more helpful and she sorted everything out. Room was small but really quirky (probably because it's a 16th century inn). Spotlessly clean as was the bathroom.
Located in Milton Keynes, 6 miles from Milton Keynes Bowl, Kingfisher Hotel, Golf and Country Club provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a fitness center and a bar. The whole experience was amazing. The room was immaculate clean. The food was of such high standards. The staff were very helpful and polite. I can’t fault anything about our stay there.
Located in Milton Keynes within 6 miles of Milton Keynes Bowl and 8 miles of Bletchley Park, Shoulder Of Mutton has rooms with free WiFi. Amazing communication from Gary, as was travelling for the f1 and gave us useful information and accommodating with leaving the car there, great night sleep, tv a little small but that’s coz I’m used to a 50” tv lol, shame he’s booked up for next year! If going back to silverstone (ever) definitely try and get a room as only 25 mins away (on bike)
Lovely people, lovely room and breakfasts. We enjoyed a lovely warm friendly stay, where we were well looked after. We enjoyed their small outdoor pool with early morning swims followed by delicious coffee and breakfast. We visited Blenheim Palace, Stowe, Canon Ashby House and Bletchley Park, as well as visits to Milton Keynes! It is a well placed location to visit historic properties and restaurants. We ate vairied a pub restaurant, Pizza, chicken and chips and a great curry house, Calcutta Brasserie in Wolverton.
Great little place if you're looking for a quite getaway. Nice little village in "the middle of nowhere" but close driving distance to Silverstone & Milton Keynes. We stayed for the MotoGP and it was just great.
