Located 3.1 mi from World of Glass and 4.3 mi from Knowsley Road, Womack Lodge features accommodations located in Saint Helens. Last minute Work related stay this place fulfilled everything we needed as did not want to be in a hotel in these strange covid times. Highly recommended.
Sutton Heath Lodge is located in Saint Helens and provides accommodations with a shared lounge and free WiFi, 2.4 mi from Knowsley Road and 3.1 mi from St Helens Rugby Ground. The place was well looked after exceptionally clean and has everything you could need
Set in Saint Helens in the Merseyside region, with St Helens Rugby Ground and World of Glass nearby, Amicus House - Spacious 4 Bedroom & 4 Bedroom Apartments in St. Had a great 2 night stay. We had everything and more in the apartment. All kitchen utensils appartment was spot less, beds were comfy and cosy with furnishings. I honestly couldn't fault it. Would definitely recommend to other people as a base.
I was born in Prescot a long time ago and it was great to come back and see how things are in the town. Of course BICC, the cable company is long gone and I found the streets to be much narrower than I remembered. Some great developments and the Shakespeare Theatre currently under construction should give the town a big boost. Some of the buildings from the sixties looked really shabby and dated and Knowsley Council could do a much better job of keeping the town clean, almost felt as if nobody cared. Some of the pubs were really showing the worst for wear, the Dean's House was a real disappointment. The Watchmaker was the best hostelry by far, wide range of beers and food. Pity the Big Chippy was being renovated because I missed out on a steak and kidney pudding, chips and mushy peas and of course Rays the bakery still going strong with Pork Pies, Rum Truffles and Vanilla Slices to die for. Good to come back and re-visit.
We like everything about this place Good Food great swimming pool, decided to go into Liverpool but it was a 25-minute journey by car although I have a sat nav it was difficult to find the Hotel when coming back but that could have been just me ,overall great place
Great staff, great bar, however the food was poor, eat out! Our room was next to reception so noisy most of the night, also next to the lift and stairs. Breakfast was good. The hotel has a pool, sauna and gym but other than that its a stop over not a holiday hotel.
The hotel was very nice to look at, the staff were very friendly and it was clean. It wasn't clear what public transport was close however I did spot a local train station (Whiston) a short taxi fare away.
Food was ok but, limited choice if you book a deal ahead of stay. Awful stay. Rooms really shabby & tired. Terrible draught through window, faulty heater so little/no heat. Very noisy with M/way next door. No pre-arranged upgrade on check in & over charged on check out!!!
Easy to find just off the motorway. Nice staff and a fairly clean environment. Comfortable sleep and powerful showers. However the room design is old fashioned and uncomfortable to be in, I couldn't of stayed there for longer than 1 night.
Excellent value for money. Nice big rooms. Tea and coffee in room
