Bedrooms were lovely. Lots of refreshments and fresh milk. Lovely toiletries from the The White Company. Powerful shower and comfy pillows and duvet. Nice little touches with the fudge and the sleep packs.

The hotel is beautiful and set in a stunning location. The gardens and lounge were especially nice to relax in. We greatly enjoyed the fire greeting us in the entrance hall each evening.

Perfectly located inn with great pub downstairs. Everyone was nice, the food was great. The owner even gave us a lift to the train station that would be hard to reach on time.

We made a last minute reservation and weren't disappointed. In fact, we wished we could have stayed longer. The owner went well out of his way to make us feel welcome. The gardens are beautiful as are the views. Our room was large and very clean. The food including breakfast was excellent. We felt the prices were very reasonable. There is plenty of secure parking. If we are in the area again we will be happy to stay.
