I think there are only about four bedrooms, but 'The Castle' offers a top-class stay. The room we enjoyed was called "Rupert", and was at the top of the tower. (N.B. The suite is reached by ascending narrow, spiral stairs, not easy for everybody, or for v. large luggage). The room was nearly octagonal with a four-poster double bed and spectacular views over the battlefield (as have the dining areas and the garden terraces). There was a shower in the bathroom (no bath). The food, Malbec, and the service at both dinner and breakfast surprised us with their quality. Easy car parking.
