Beautiful 400 year old inn!!! Loved the food, drink, and accommodations. The staff made sure we were warm and well fed when we spent a day indoors while storm Eowyn shut down the country - lovely to have a hot drink inside and watch the wind and rain from inside the cozy pub

Host was very responsive on Booking.com messaging. Accomodation was located very centrally in Rhu in a great location for the event we were attending. House was very spacious and clean. Keys were exchanged via lockbox which was very simple and easy to follow.

Attention to detail. Gary was welcoming and so accommodating after we arrived late due to a highway closure enroute. I liked the vintage touches in the room like the turntable! Luxurious towels and bedding too.

Peter was very welcoming, we spent the evening visiting with him and two other guests. It was a really wonderful way to end the day. The room was clean, and comfortable. The ensuite was perfect. Breakfast was lovely, and plentiful as well.

The food was very good but there was no breakfast available.

The food was very good but there was no breakfast available. The Inn was extremely noisy both from outside and within the building. It was impossible for me to sleep and the guests are left without anyone on site to assist them beyond 10 pm with no contact details. The room was pokey and although sold as a double it was really a single room. There is traffic all night through Rhu which didn't sound as if they adhered to any speed limit in force. The church clock chimes every 15 minutes and staff and customers of the Inn seem to be unaware that people are trying to sleep in the rooms above even at 1 pm in the morning

We enjoyed our stay, the team were friendly, the hotel clean...

We enjoyed our stay, the team were friendly, the hotel clean and the breakfast was tasty. The hotel welcomed the dogs and even gave them a sausage for breakfast, beds in the room and a treat awaited them at reception. It sits close to the shores so some good walks too. Lovely hotel would recommend and return. value for money.

Great Location for visiting the Clyde Lochs and Loch Lomond , Hotel had a great local vibe about it , staff extremely friendly and helpful Good food a home from home . Lovely walk into Helensburgh along the seafront.

Rhu is a cute little village on the water.

Rhu is a cute little village on the water. I booked here because I couldn't get into Luss, and after visiting Luss, I'm glad we didn't stay there as it was extremely busy. Rhu is quiet and accessible to Glasgow.

My trip was purely social with engagements in Helensburgh...

My trip was purely social with engagements in Helensburgh and at local rugby club, so I did not go to any visitor attractions or restaurants over a wet and windy winter weekend even if sun shone on Sunday morning. Take care over crossing road intersections and parking on both sides of the streets in the town-both require driver alertness and awareness ..

Rhu is a quiet town with a few shops and facilities.

Rhu is a quiet town with a few shops and facilities. The view is amazing and we found a nice little beach walk we took a stroll around each evening. Only about 15 minute drive to Loch Lomond and other facilities. The Hill House was a nice little bonus.
