Just 2 minutes’ walk from the beach, Berwyn Guest House in Rhyl (Trip Adviser certificate of excellence 2018) offers 4 star rated bed and breakfast accommodations less than half a mile from the town... Very friendly atmosphere, clean and comfortable room. Really recommend
Located in Rhyl, in a building dating from 1901 and guestrooms with free WiFi. At the guest house each room includes a shared bathroom. The room was warm and cosy, nothing was too much trouble, The owners were brilliant especially under my personal circumstances.

Located in the seaside resort town of Rhyl, the Ocean View offers self-catering accommodations. I loved being on the bottom floor, the room had everything I needed. It was close to town, next to a nice pub and in front of the beach, I especially liked that it was next to the 1892 bar they did the best milkshake I've ever had.

rhyl was dirty and nothing to do at all and the marine holiday caravan park was absolutely disgrace no hot water no heating not a single thing open apart from pool no kind of entertainment no place for food absolute waste of a holiday and time never reccomens to anyone
All facilities were there, pleasant people. Beach not crowded or too stoney. Shops close together so no trouble finding eateries or souvenirs. Train Station in the centre of Town next door to the Bus station. Plus Taxis are available a short distance away. Rhyl is more a short stay area. A good base to Tour the Welsh Coast. It is better with Tourists own Transport but as I said Transport is simple from the Town. The Harbour is down the one end of Town with Cafeteria. There are plenty of places to eat but one we especially like is the Piatzza Resturant in the middle of the High St.I
We were just visiting family so only stayed overnight in the resort. On driving along the promenade Rhyl has improved since we lived there 25 years ago, with old hotels and arcades renovated into sea front apartments and new shopping complexes. Overnight parking in the council car parks was free and nearby to our accommodation. There seemed to be ample restaurants, takeaways and pubs with amusement arcades along the sea front. The seagulls are a nuisance and scavenge around the outdoor eating areas even dive bombing some tables which is quite scary. The town itself has a variety of shops as well as a shopping centre which is all easy to get around. There are rides and the usual seaside stalls along the promenade selling burgers, candyfloss etc... and plenty keep the little ones happy.
The front has been updated over the last few years and it does look better.. but a lot of new building work taking place right on the front on the old arcades.. so beware as a lot of paths are unusable…
Unfortunately like most seaside towns, they are different after the season has finished. I find Rhyl town a little disappointing. The beach and marina are lovely. But the town needs some TLC injected into it.
Ryhl has a lot of empty buildings some under renervation and hopefully in the future will be a very nice location, it was quite and overall a nice place to visit and the people are lovely but the surrounding areas are nicer.
The caravan was in a great location. The site had anything you needed really and was close to Rhyl centre, the rail station and handily, a large Morrison’s supermarket. Although the caravan did not have it’s own dedicated parking plot, the carpark was just 40 metres way. You will find the owners, Helen and Rob are extremely good with their communication and will always be available by phone should you have any questions/problem.
Lovely en-suite room I stayed in. Lovely bed and beddings. Clean and very lovely smelling room. Guest amenities were on point. Clean and very decent place. You don’t want to miss it when you visit Rhyl! Convenient social distancing arrangement for breakfast.
There was no breakfast available to my knowledge (although, I prefer to do my own thing for breakfast in any case). The Guest House was only 5 minutes away from Rhyl Town Centre, which offered a variety of attractions, public houses and eateries.
Cheap But because of out of season I suppose and COVID wasn’t much to do
it was a lovely caravan and close to both Rhyl and Prestatyn
I loved being on the bottom floor, the room had everything I needed. It was close to town, next to a nice pub and in front of the beach, I especially liked that it was next to the 1892 bar they did the best milkshake I've ever had.
The park is in a great location, near to the beach and shops.
