With parts of the building dating back 700 years, this former coaching inn stands on the market square in the ancient city of Ripon, at the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. Room was spacious. En-suite bathroom also spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay again there if I happen to visit Ripon again.

Rooms were newly remodeled and comfortable. Staff went way above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. Would highly recommend this place as a beautiful country cottage experience.
