Beautiful view of the gardens from the bedrooms. The house is spacious and has everything you need. Beds are comfy. Short walk to a wee football pitch at the end of the lane, which my son enjoyed using. Very friendly, kind and accommodating owners. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel in Burnley
Built in 1856, Rosehill House is half a mile south of Burnley town center. It has retained much of its original architecture, including Italian marble fireplaces and gold leaf ceilings. Beautiful 19th century home that’s been converted into a hotel. We are bike touring and this was a nice stop over between cities so we could take some work meetings. while the Wi-Fi didn’t work well the room itself was absolutely beautiful. The concierge checked us in early and upgraded our room (so many thanks!!). Oh and we did end up having such a wonderful dinner and breakfast there. All in all a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend.
Had a lovely 2 night stay would recommend if you are wanting to get away to relax, stayed during the heatwave was lovely to sit out, had a toastie and chips from the onsite cafe 1 night which was nice and a good price and had a bbq the next night outside the pod, the games room looked good for kids the toilet/ shower block was spotless and the staff was friendly
Had a really nice stay in one of their pods, the staff were welcoming and friendly and helpful to answer questions about the area. I would recommend using their hot tub which was very relaxing. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and well looked after. The scenery was beautiful and perfect for a relaxing weekend away. Unfortunately our little pod smelt like smoke which was easily fixable with some spray but still quite confusing/disappointing, also the WiFi didn’t work in the pods and only in the cafe/reception point. Inside the pods it’s relatively clean, but sadly the smoke smell in the pod latched on to some of the bedding. Other than that everything was clean, you were provided towels, crockery and cutlery, a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities etc. Despite the smoke problem, I would visit Rossendale again as it’s quite a peaceful atmosphere and definitely “glamping” at its finest!
Rossendale
Excellent views over the moors. Very nice garden which you can sit in . We saw a deer in it one night. The barn conversion is stylishly done and you can enjoy the thought of being behind 80cm thick walls as well. There is plenty of hot water for the clean & modern bathroom. The bedrooms are pleasant and the beds are very comfortable. The family who run the farm are friendly and you will see the farm's hens & horses around. We expect we will choose the cottage again for our next visit to Rossendale.
Rossendale
Me and my husband love coming back to Rossendale. We live in Brighton and whenever we visit the North, this is our preferred accommodation.
