The Campanile Hotel Runcorn is located in Runcorn town center, 394 feet from Runcorn Railway Station and 7 minutes’ drive from the M56 motorway. Everything. Second time we have stayed here and it did everything we needed for our stay! Cheap, free (strong) wifi and easy parking.
Located in Hale, within 5.9 miles of 20 Forthlin Road and 6.7 miles of Mendips John Lennon Home, Mersey view Hotel & Pub provides accommodations with a bar as well as free private parking for guests... Good location close to the airport. Friendly helpful staff.
Located in Widnes, just 6.8 miles from 20 Forthlin Road, Palm House provides accommodations with a garden, barbecue facilities and free WiFi. I stayed while moving house, a stressful time made better by this great place and the hospitality. Great accessible location from the motorway, well-stocked with everything I could need, clean and bright, super warm and cozy during a cold spell, and very helpful hosts. One of the best self-catering apartments I’ve stayed in!
Offering garden views, Chota Gher Apartment is a property located in Widnes, 5 miles from 20 Forthlin Road and 5.8 miles from Mendips John Lennon Home. Friendly hosts, lovely apartment- even had outdoor space. Everything you could need provided. Milk and great selection of hot drinks etc, plus breakfast foods. Very clean, beautifully decorated.
Set in the village of Hale, 8.9 mi from Liverpool city center, The Barn Bed and Breakfast features free WiFi access and free private parking. Rooms have a flat-screen TV. The Barn is a great place to stay. The hosts, Jenny and Gary, were extremely friendly and helpful, and made us feel very much at home. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and was quite spacious and well-equipped. There is free parking on the property, which is located in Hale Village, a peaceful rural setting with a pub that served very good food. There is a very enjoyable walk from the village to a lighthouse on the River Mersey. Access to the center of Liverpool is easy by bus, so we left our car at the house during our stay. We would highly recommend The Barn to anyone wanting to explore the Liverpool area.
Runcorn has lots to offer: pubs, of course the chippy, a theatre and I think a cinema too. As well there's a lovely dessert-shop which offers ice-cream, waffles, cakes, pancakes or crepe until very late with lots of options... Wonderful. The people there are just lovely. Lots of other places are quite close, e.g. Liverpool, the country of Wales and different places on the coast. Watch out for the bridges and don't forget to pay the toll.
Basic room in a accommodation block, not a pretty site but clean and comfortable bed. Piping hot water in the clean bathroom. Free easy WIFI, clear instruction as to how to get there, very pleasant staff. Extensive roadworks nearby though, near to the railway station gave the approach a worrying view, but once past the works, the hotel was pleasant and parking easy. We would stay there again.
Stayed for a trip to Cheshire Oaks superb hotel couldn't fault anything pool and spa area a big plus will be staying again on my next visit to Cheshire Oaks. Local town also deserves a mention very nice for food and drinks must visit Kash 22 if in area.
Liked everything about the hotel; room, bed, breakfast and most staff. Only downside was a male member of staff walking through the ladies changing room in the health centre unannounced. My wife was in getting showered and changed at the time. If he had gone in a couple of minutes earlier she said she would have been stood there naked. This is not acceptable
more tea and coffee and milk sachets in room. fire alarm that if activated, then cancelled because of false alarm, some way to inform guests. better sausages, but that is personal, breakfast was superb otherwise, and staff both at check in and breakfast and check out were wonderful. only stopped at Runcorn as visiting Warrington, them off to Chester following day. only problem with that was roadworks. perhaps when acknowledging booking, a little note to explain how to access through the roadworks would bed useful!
We didn't use the leisure facilities as it was just an overnight stop over but everything was adequate. Food was also fairly quick coming out only thing we're the chips were about soggy and greasy apart from that all staff were prompt and friendly
Hotel is great for the train station. The staff very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast was very good.
Good service. Reasonably cheap but...
