Located on England’s south coast, The Seal is a 10-minute walk from Selsey's beaches. The pub has been family-run for 40 years, and specializes in home-cooked food and award-winning ales. //The staff were fantastic - efficient and considerate. //Outstanding Breakfast //Great dinner menu too, we ended up eating at the Seal every night we were in Selsey it was that good. //Fantastic bar with a great selection of beers on tap in addition to a wide range of Gin and Whiskey.
Located in Selsey, 29 mi from Worthing, Vincent Lodge provides a garden and free WiFi. Fitted with a patio, the units feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. The host was very helpful and answered every request fast and completely. The location is excellent a short walk to both the sea and the shops.
Selsey Golf and Country Club - Toledo is set in Selsey and offers a restaurant, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a bar. The lady who helped me sort my booking out, Sara, was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She amended my first booking because I’d booked the wrong dates. She kept me informed with my new booking, and was so helpful it was unbelievable. What a fantastic lady. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was there whenever I needed her
Set in Selsey, 29 mi from Worthing, Granada 8 offers a restaurant and free WiFi. Aimme was brilliant! Could not do enough for us! I would certainly go back. Location is spot on for our Goodwood weekend. There is great Fish and chip shop nearby and the Curry House was great!
Walking the dogs along the front, getting the fresh fish was very enjoyable. Need shoes to walk on the stone but swimming the the sea was great, so easy to get around Selsey , the different shops are brilliant . Would love to move to Selsey the people are so friendly.
Dead .. a dying sea side town with over rated hotel which is expensive .. and having stayed at the Seal Hotel did not encourage you to want to stay with them again .. didn’t offer a complimentary drink when the staff was very busy and have no time for you .. but charged £100 a night .. without breakfast .. not very good really .. so I know it won’t break them but we will not stay with them again and I will not be recommending them either .. sorry .. that’s how I feel ..
We were self catering, there was an Asda and Co-op in Selsey very near to where we were staying. We also ate out at a pub called The Seal which was lovely and reasonably priced. The beaches close by are shingle, we took a look at them ,nice for a walk but nothing else.
Small quiet coastal village with all the shops you need. Some nice pubs and places to eat. Ate tapas at the Viento de Levante restaurant, very good indeed also visited the Riviera Restaurant, extremely good value and large portions. Walk along the sea front was great. Not touristy.
Selsey is still a unspoilt area, nice small village but with all shops and cafes needed. i wouldnt say suitable for teenagers ( to quite). we travelled to portsmouth and chichester from there no problem.
Lovely little town with a few shops and eateries. The bakery there sells some delicious cakes and bakes. The beach is just a short walk from the town, very clean and perfect for walks along. A great base to stay and explore.
The host was very helpful and answered every request fast and completely. The location is excellent a short walk to both the sea and the shops.
