It was just really cossy and everything you needed
The site was very clean, the people were very friendly.
The site was very clean, the people were very friendly. There is a free bus that takes you around which is very cool. The food and drinks were reasonably priced. The WIFI was not very good at all but apart from that it was very good value for money and I will be booking again.

There is much to do in the area of Selsey, but some places are weather dependent. If staying at seal Bay West Sands please note it is a very large site, with a resident bus that ferries people around. Booking through a private owner as we did, you are not entitled to use the sites facilities uness buying a pass. These are quite expensive, and don't allow dogs to their facilities. However, you can take a dog as we did.
Nearby is Itchenor where pre booked boat trips for bird watching or seal watching are fun.
We ate at the nearby Lifeboat Inn and a tasty scampi & chips !
Getting around Selsey wasn't a problem, but expect it to be busier when schools break up for the summer,

A good choice of shops and eating places.
A good choice of shops and eating places. We particularly liked Chaplins little shake shop and the Hopp Inn. There is a lovely community feel to the area and we joined in with the D-Day commemorations - very moving - and a 'boogie at the boat-house' to raise funds for the local lifeboat.

We've been coming up for 20 years and absolutely love Selsey , it;s so laid back and has everything you need within the surrounding area . It has some great pubs and restaurants and can highly recommend Lals Cocktail bar in Selsey and also the Crown and Anchor in Dell Quay .
And of course no trip is complete without a trip to Chaplins for 1 of their amazing milkshakes

Selsey is a small town, with a good range of shops and restaurants with the main road leading to the pebble beach. There is a large caravan site nearby with a funfair and amusements, a nature reserve on the road into the town, a lifeboat station along the coast road and fresh seafood available.

What a wonderful place! We had a fantastic two night stay. Spotlessly clean. Really lovely rooms, great shower.
The staff were incredibly friendly; helpful and just lovely. They went above and beyond to accommodate. We felt really at home and comfortable.
The space in the ‘dining room’ is so thoughtful. Which as a family we really enjoyed.
The breakfast is exceptional. So much choice, all so fresh and excellent quality.
All round, an incredible hotel.
Really enjoyable stay in an excellent suite with all your needs taken care of. So well laid out and kitchen area handy and very useful to have a fridge which a few beers were kindly left for a well needed drink after a long cycle ride!! So quiet in a very lovely location and Selsey is such a lovely place. So pleased I stayed here and John was a lovely host to chat to. A delight.
After a haphazard year I took it upon myself to have two days away by myself for some headspace. This place was ideally what I needed where I could enjoy peace and the lovely delights of Selsey. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive.
The rooms are thoughtfully designed, very clean and bright. Staff very friendly and efficient. The Seal describes itself as a "Pub with rooms", actually it's a great little hotel with an ensuite pub! The pub itself is attractive and welcoming,
Lovely place in Selsey. Great location and everything you need. Dog friendly as well. Selsey is a beautiful town very picturesque and from the house you have a choice of beaches and English coast paths. Will go back.
